I miss the crowds and strolli.g through the exhibits. The rush you get when you find a.parking space and days out your car to quickly mix in the fun and excitement and remanence on past 2 Street Festivals of family that have passed on. But still glad to still have it continue virtually. Love Richmond History!!!

This riverfront camel cruise ended as soon as it started. The tour guide was so rude to me. Then asked me if I wanted to go back to the dock n get my money back. I sat down and tried to comply. However he continued to berate me and embarrassed me to the point where I asked him to return me to the dock. He should not have this job . Or any job to deal with the public . Shame on him

For the Richmond Folk Festival, handicap parking is available in the Federal Reserve Parking Deck located on the corner of 5th and Byrd Streets. A traffic control officer is located at the intersection to allow properly identified vehicles through. During the festival, an ADA shuttle runs from the Federal Reserve Parking deck to 5th & Tredegar Street. From Tredegar & 5th Street, four (4) stages are fully accessible (Altria, RTD-Union Folklife, WestRock, Dominion Energy). However, we do not provide onsite transportation. It is a difficult event site, considering that its on the hillside leading down to the James River, but with 200,000 people in attendance we do our best to accommodate everyone. Thank you for voicing your concern.

constantly ignoring Federal ADA laws and doing nothing to make events accessible such as Folk Festival while taking care of their own able bodied folks. but not anyone who is disabled ... time to let Dept. of Justice know of the lack of access

Tracey, I'm very sorry about your bad experience. Unfortunately, Venture Richmond is a downtown marketing and promotion organization and we didn't help you with your problem at home. We wish you the best though.

The salesman was pushy. I told him three times that now was not a good time because my children ages 7 and 9 at the time were fighting. He persisted. To get him off our porch, I agreed to service. I was told it would be $99.00 to cancel when I signed up. Today when I called the office, I was told nicely that it would be $150.00 for cancellation prior to one year. I don't see a huge difference in the bugs/critters around our house. In fact, we still see ants and spiders. Needless to say, I will not continue with the service nor would I recommmend Venture. In lieu of paying $150.00 termination fee, I will have the serive contiue for two more cycles and then we can be done with Venture.
