When your hypalon peeled, we offered you a free replacement if you sent the bag pack to us or a 25% refund, you opted for the refund without any complaint. As for the Rennen Pack, we do work with an international distributor to ship items world wide and while we wished we could have gotten you the right color, we did everything we could to work with this distributor and they just did not have it. Our apologies and best of luck.
Love the functionality and look of their products and bought 3 bags: the Rennen set, Prima Xpac, and Arclite/Errant Xpac sling. Unfortunately I've had significant problems with the customer service from Boundary as well as the durability of their products. Rennnen set: after a lot of trouble getting the actual bag, one of the items was the wrong color. Apparently the supplier they worked with did not have the color I ordered so they simply sent a different color - no consultation whether this was ok, whether I would prefer to wait for the color to become available or whether I wanted to change the order. When I asked for the correct color to be sent they "couldn't" as it was an international order. To think that sending a different color than the one paid for is ok is just not good enough for the price of these products. Prima Xpac: after a month of light use (just after that 'return within 30 days' option expired)the hypalon surface started peeling, despite being marketed for 'extreme use'. After some discussion I was offered a replacement bag but no guarantee it wouldn't happen again, or a 20% refund - strangely they later claimed they gave me a 25% refund, I wish they had! The third option I requested - sending the bag back for them to fix and replace with a better material was not an option. I took the 20% refund which will need to be used to repair the bag in the future. Arclite/Errant Sling: same problem with hypalon peeling after a month, I was initially offered a 20% refund but they did not follow through. In short if you are in the market for a bag there are many other well established companies where you will get the product you pay for and which don't start to disintegrate after a month of light use. So disappointed.
This may be the worst company to have to deal with. Ive made two purchases through Kickstarter so far. First was the Errant backpack which was great in theory. However this backpack runs very small after placing anything in there. You quickly realize the storage design is poor and fees bulky when carrying anything more than a laptop. This came about a year late. Second was the Chase pants. Its been going on 3 years now since the Kickstarter was fulfilled. Last update was November 2020 and no replies to anything since. NEVER back this company. The only positive thing I can say about this company off of one product is that the quality of materials is nice.
