Was just quoted $670 for new progressive lenses and I have VSP!!! Asked for itemized price estimate and was told it doesn't work that way. Asked how to reduce the cost and was told they didn't know. Reminded them that with my VSP benefits I get 20% off for lenses, and was told that is only if I buy two pairs (not true!!). Office staff bordered on rude. What happened to Uptown Vision Clinic?? Had been my go-to for years.

The staff here have a partnership with Aspex so they custom ordered my exact frame I wanted and got it to me in a little over a week. Custom frames (EasyTwist, TurboFlex), custom lenses (prescription, transition, blue light filter, anti-glare), and they took my VSP insurance from my employer. I didnt even need an eye exam because they took my old prescription from last year. Awesome, no-nonsense service.

I liked my experience here, but recently called to get a copy of my prescription and they told me they got rid of it. I just lost eye insurance (and my glasses), and now Im SOL. Seems silly that they would just get rid of your entire file - Im not sure how that would be helpful if I ever went back for another exam and they deleted all of my history.
