Worked for this company in a local school district for 1 year (2015-2016). Healthcare insurance was unaffordable; pay was just above minimum wage; no raises; no 401Ks; no paid time off/sick time (we just worked sick); 1 week paid vacation after 1 year of service. Got bumped from my building and put at another because the district "didn't like" the other cleaner; I got "rewarded" for being a good one. During the winter was required multiple times to snow shovel and salt school building after hours on Sun. nights, so 1 day off in much of winter out of 7. Employee turnover was about 50% (slightly better than DM Burr!). HR is in Jenesen, MI so good luck getting in touch with them if needed. Avoid working for Hi-Tec if you can.

The company is ran on a thread. New employees are often never trained properly to work with chemical cleaners. Turn over rate is unbelievable. One manager made a cleaning team cancel family plans for Labor Day Weekend, forcing workers to work ridiculous hours. The manager butted heads and two other workers quit because of her. This new manager quit after two weeks. Current management offered little or no support when a school account was down to just one HI Tech janitor. The one employee was expected to do the work of four employees which is physically impossible. This would not likely be a good fit company for anyone to work for.
