We stayed in cabin 11 on July 26-28, 2018. The queen bed was very comfortable! The twin beds needed to be replaced. When we sat on them, we sank down and could feel the hard wooden frame underneath. There was no box spring. Also, we checked in around 3:30pm and our room was extremely hot. We could open one window a few inches. The room smelled like moth balls and body odor. This was the biggest turn off for us. The bathroom had been recently redone, which we liked, but the shower was small. The shower head was very low and we had to crouch under it in this tiny space to wash our hair. The staff was very polite and friendly. There was no minirefrigerator, coffee maker, or blow dryer.
Good location although somewhat remote. Good access to Park. We heard the creek babbling behind us all night which was nice. We were disappointed when we left my orange tote bag with two nice jackets, one bright orange down jacket and my good Columbia waterproof jacket with a hood. Called repeatedly to retrieve it not long after and got the owner's brother in North Carolina! Never could speak to the owner or anybody actually at the place. He assured us it was thrown out as trash by the cleaning crew! What a disappointment. I was sorry to lose these two jackets and just want people to know to make sure and pick up all your things before you leave. We're very certain this is exactly where we left them and have a photo of the bag on one of the beds. I hung it up on a bracket by the curtain and forgot about it when I loaded the car. All this took place June 26, 2019.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We had vehicle trouble during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to help us. They are genuinely kind hearted and accommodating. The cabin was cozy, clean, and rustic. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and very close to the east entrance of Yellowstone! Definitely recommend staying here!
Experience at this place was not good at all. Surprisingly there was no electricity, no water for few hours which affected our travel itinerary plans. There is also no food at the property. Have to go to nearby resort Pahaska Tepee for everything.
