Such a beautiful vineyard, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Grandfather Mountain. The bubbling brook was pleasing to sit by as well the patio and other vignettes on the property for socializing. The band was good many patrons enjoyed dancing. They Haveva nice variety of wines. I'd suggest to try a flight to tasting so you can decide your favorite. Very pleasant and enjoyable

Beautiful scenery. We enjoyed live music on our visit! Weather was gorgeous and flight tasting wonderful. Several options! Also serve local cheeses!

On 5/29/2022 my wife and I visited GFW. A very nice staff person told my wife and I where some unoccupied chairs were. We went and asked a lady who was sitting beside the unoccupied chairs if we could have one. She said yes no problem no one is sitting here. I picked up one chair then heard a voice yelling NO,NO,NO! This man was the owner Mr. Tatum. Mr. Tatum came up to me and grabbed the chair out of my hand. Mr. Tatum was obviously intoxicated and very rude. We have visited this winery for over two years at least once a month. Also the porta potties are Disgusting, and unsanitary. In short great music, okay wine, drunk Belligerent owner. Luckily there are many Great wineries in the area. Banner Elk here we come. We invite you there as well.

Visitng this winery is a must do for wine and lovers of live music ( music on the weekends.) Parking is no problem as they have friendly young employees with two and three seat golf carts watching to see who would like a shuttle. Leashed dogs are most welcome. Bring folding chairs in case all the picnic tables are already taken. The wine is outstanding! Bring your own snacks- food truck on site weekends.
