Building Character is an exceptional program! My 4 children have all participated in a program, activity or camp that the director Whitney has overseen. Her energy and commitment to the youth in her acting programs is just amazing! If you have a child interested in theatre or acting or you just want your child to come out of their shell, they need to try one of the programs offered by Whitney and her passionate staff. You wont be disappointed!

My daughter has been doing classes with Whitney and her team for 2 years and absolutely loves it! It has helped her come out of her shell, grow in her confidence, and think creatively. After doing some camps, my son is excited to finally be old enough for after-school classes! Your children will love this program!

The definition of Building Character is: adjective. improving certain good or useful traits in a person's character, self-reliance, endurance, and courage. This is exactly what happens when you bring your child to Building Character, the instructor learns your childs good or useful traits and has those shine and helps them learn self-reliance, endurance, and courage. I am so blessed that I stumbled across this amazing program when I was trying to find a program to help my child find her voice. Whitney and Michelle have been heaven sent and have not only improve my daughters ability but to also help her get a solo in her school musical! Then when Covid-19 hit they did not turn their backs on our children, they created an online Zoom program (almost immediately, before any other program I heard doing it)! They even allowed the children to stay on longer after class to talk and socialize. Talk about going above and beyond, AND they had a recital for parents, friends and family to come see via Zoom (and it ran so smoothly)! Then to finish it all off they had a FREE summer Zoom program, so the kids still had some place to go each week to not only craft their skills but be able to safely socialize with other children who love the arts. I cannot praise Building Character enough in all they have done before Covid-19 and since it has changed our world, Building Character made darn sure the children still had a creative outlet and I think that is remarkable!

My daughter has been in the Building Character after school program and attending Building Character summer classes for years. She loves the after school program and the camps are one of her favorite things to do every summer! Building Character makes it fun for the kids! The summer camps are a fun mix of acting, singing, dancing, making commericals and movie shorts all capped off with a fun performance for family and friends where the kids can highlight what they've learned all week. Every camp is slightly different so she loves going back year after year to see what's new and all of the kids love the instructors and person attention they get. We are so lucky to have someone as talented as Whitney King to help our kids develop confidence and fuel their love to perform. I recommend this program to everyone - they'll get something out it whether they have an interest in the theater or not!

Building Character Acting classes are AMAZING!!!! These classes are a must for every child. The amount of confidence your child will gain is unbelievable. I have seen this first hand with my two daughters ages 16 and 14. They have taken these classes for years and the growth and development is just incredible. The teachers invest the time in your child to make them the best version of themself. I am so grateful for how much the teachers mentor the children and pour their hearts into them. The Summer camps are an absolute BLAST!!!! There are so many camp counselors that you child gets so much attention and learns a ton. The counselors are passionate about acting and love sharing their skills with the kids. The camp is great value for the money. Overall I strongly recommend Building Character Acting Classes and Summer Camps.
