Soma, I'm very sorry that you felt like you paid to much for your service at the Salon. For future visits to other salons, you should ask how much services cost before you get them done so that you can see if they are within your beauty budget. You where asked if the highlight was the right tone after changing the color 3 times and you said yes. When you left the salon, your hair looked Great. I feel like the service provider treated you with great respect and did everything she could to make you happy, I'm sorry you felt differently.

New customers beware, COMPLETE RIP OFF- Overcharged, 191$ for coloring/highlights on short pixie hair!! They have PREDATORY practice when it comes to BILLING. This was the break up 65$ for highlights, 65$ for color, 30$ for toner and 30$ for regular blow dry. Most salons have toner and regular blow dry of hair included with highlight/color service, as its part of the coloring process. Its a very basic regular salon in a very regular place, just one up than franchise great clips or super cut. I would understand the charges if it was some fancy salon and if I had received the service from very experienced colorist. As per Thumbtack data, average rate of the service for the area is 90$, and 135$ is the max. So, yup its a RIP OFF!! This is how my experience went- It was my first visit there, I took a picture of what I wanted, I have black hair wanted brown with tone of red as highlights. I have very short pixie style, the stylist gave me a platinum blonde highlight in first go, then seeing my disappointment tried fixing it and it came to chestnut brown and that too was awful, and then finally she brought me her shade book and I pointed the color I wanted from the GET GO. She got it close to that color in the end. I was charged exorbitant 191$ for getting my short pixie hair highlighted. Especially when they state in the website the Highlight-lowlight starts at 50-55$ and then they bill you for 190$, that's a COMPLETE RIP OFF! If Toner and blowdry is separate charges why not add it out there as Additional charges in the website in highlight color services. Nobody is going to go out in wet hair after getting the hair colored, so they be aware that there is separate 30$ charge to have a basic hair dry...and then another 30$ for toner, so THEY CAN UP their BEAUTY SERVICE BUDGET before they walk in. And then they claim they have 5 certified colorists out of 40 in the state of Michigan, where the colorist had to go through " 3 times"before she got the color right. Will warn my friends and family about the bad experience and PREDATORY practice in billing.
