I've attended the NEC for a few conventions now and always found the staff really friendly and helpful. Toilets are mostly clean (toilets near hall 1 are best to avoid due to queues and overuse) and the convention centre itself is always clean and tidy. One of the best features is the free water refill stations - great way to save money and to stay hydrated. Located near hall 1 and 3 though I'm sure there is more. Great location as it's connected to Birmingham International train station and the airport is a monorail ride away with ample hotels in walking distance. Photos are of hall 1 and hall 3 when visiting UK Games Expo (go, you won't regret it!)

Good for conferences. 20 large halls, hotels onsite and direct train to Birmingham city centre for easy connections and more hotels. Lots of restraints on-site and plenty of car parking. Also contains the Gentings arena (formerly the national indoor arena).
