My experience was awful. Its too bad negative stars cant be given on a review. I contacted Ancira 6/6/2022, about a 2022 Chev Colorado. At that time, the salesperson, Mike Swanson, said the truck was available. He emailed the worksheet for the truck to me so we could work out details on the deal. I told him to remove several things that were added b/c I didn't want to pay for additional and unnecessary packages, services, etc. The additions were apprx $3400. He tried to bully me into purchasing the additions. I told him I didn't want the add-ons and told him again (firmly) that I'm not paying for something I don't want and explained that since none of the additions were installed on the vehicle, I should have the right to say what I will and will not pay for. After I sent my response to remove most of the additional packages and services, Mr Swanson told me the truck is presently tied up in another deal and if it falls thru he'll let me know. I immediately thought, "Excuse me?!" He told me it was available and now suddenly it's tied up in another deal?! Who sends a worksheet to a customer and wastes both their time "negotiating" if the truck is "tied up in another deal?" Frankly, I think it's a line of Bull. Unfortunately for buyers, it's a sellers market and Ancira knows they can sell the vehicle to someone else who will pay for all the additions (unlike me). Furthermore, when I asked when another truck like the one I'm interested in is coming, he said, "Well, we have one like it on the lot but we're waiting for GM to invoice us... but you may not be able to get the dealer discount of $2540 on that vehicle..." This is the clearest case of "bait & switch" I've ever seen. Initially, I thought the salesperson dropped the ball, but I don't believe that's the case here. This not only makes Mr Swanson look bad, but it makes Ancira look bad for allowing this to go on. This sort of thing doesn't help them get repeat business or referrals. Any dealership that operates like this needs to understand, the market will correct and people like me will remember how they treated them. I, for one, will remember the unethical and dishonest practices of Ancira Chevrolet and will do business with another dealership that deals equitably with the consumer! I had hoped since pricing improved a little that buying a vehicle wouldn't be so painstaking. I don't need to buy a vehicle that bad, so I'll hold on to my car and just wait this shizzle out. At this point, I'm glad my money didn't go toward a dealer or salesperson that won't deal honestly with the consumer.
