Ive tried canceling my subscription twice! Still taking money from my bank account. Was told its non-refundable and when I called was told I needed to talk to 2 peopleplease tell me how I would know that. I just filed a complaint with BBB.
Incompetent individuals who frankly have no idea how their own business works. Also, if you are paying for the paper please go online and pay it's almost $200 cheaper. I was asking for a promotion to be verified and just got the ring around for 10 mins.
Awful company. Takes advantage of its customers, particularly senior citizens. My mother is low income and canceled her subscription to the Sunday paper at the end of September. The company continued taking money from her checking account. She called the Eagle and was assured that her subscription would be canceled. But it wasn't; the company continued drawing money from her checking account. So now she is issuing a stop payment through her bank. Truly an awful company with an awful product.
Reading Eagle publishes vital community information but places it behind a paywall. A few months ago I couldnt even view an article about my deceased family member without them trying to make me subscribe with my money. I wouldnt pay a dime to a company like that. And I thought they went out of business? They need to for good.
Zero Stars if I could. First, viewing the news online is buggy, second of all they have no refund policy, they double charged my subscription for August and after waiting to speak to a rep, they said they will not charge me for Sept. But guess what? I was charged again today for Sept subscription. So I cancelled my account and disputed the charges on my credit card. Worst management ever.
