Car service was poor. Waited for hours at the dealership for an oil change. Was never notified car was ready. Dealership decided on their own to change my phone # so I couldn't be contacted. Service adviser made no attempt to find me or notify me otherwise even though they knew I was waiting there at the dealership for the car.

Toyota of Planos slogan is Were Better and It Shows. Im inclined to disagree from the standpoint of integrity, transparency, and what should be common courtesy. My wife found a pickup truck listed on the ToP website and made an appointment on 5/20/2022 to test drive it at 11 a.m. the following morning, which was confirmed by phone multiple times that same day (5/20). That next morning, we loaded up our whole family and made the one-hour drive to the dealership only to be told by Ethan (salesperson) and Jesse (sales manager) that theyd sold it the night before. I understand that; it happens. But the part that I find irksome is where they failed to pick up the phone and relay that information before we drove 50+ miles one way on $4.39/gallon gas. Instead, they used the opportunity to waste even more of our time by showing us vehicles that were several thousand dollars more expensive than the one that prompted the journey in the first place. Furthermore, my wife even went so far as to initiate an Express Buy online purchase of the pickup beforehand, creating an online account with ToP that she ultimately used to upload non-public information (SSN, DL copy, etc.) even though it was to be a cash purchase. Come to find out, ToP views this process as nothing more than an inquiry, so save yourself the time and keep your personal information to yourself. It seems to me that this information is being collected under false pretenses. We bought a car from this place onceyears ago, but itll sure as hell never happen again.

Me and my brother went to visit this dealership for a RAV4 and Toyota Sienna here on Saturday 28th May, 2022. We had already done our research and based on the top ratings, decided to visit this dealership. We were greeted on the door by Trevon(that is how he introduced). We went to his desk ,he asked few questions and told that it would cost $43000 for RAV4 based on information we provided. Soon after that we proceed to ask some question. The first question being , do you have anything available and second question being why is it so expensive and why shouldn't one look for a Lexus or other competitor cars. He was outraged and basically asked us to "Get Out". I have visited multiple dealerships before and have owned few cars but i have never come across some one so ignorant and aggressive sales person. I am not sure if he was having personal issues but a sales person with bad attitude wasn't something anyone would expect while they are looking to make a decision based on their skill sets, expertise and suggestions. When asked for supervisor or a different sales person he walked away saying "go find your self". The lady in the front desk was apologetic and very nice. I felt bad for the front staff who had to apologize from someone else's mistake. Bottom Line, we will not be visiting this place. We found better service somewhere else. I advise people to stay away from this place or at least this sales person if you really have to visit here.
