Unwilling to work with me to time the shipment of their box after a couple failed deliveries. Seems a bit ridiculous considering how little it costs to ship an empty box vs. how much I would be paying to digitize the actual tapes once I am able to ship them. Lost a customer.

Hi Eric, We are so sorry we could not digitize your copyrighted videotapes. While we provide video transfer services for Walgreens, both Walgreens and iMemories are required by law not to reproduce copyrighted content without a copyright release from the producer (this can be TV, news, Hollywood movies, documentaries, etc.). When checking out at Walgreens, theres a notice on the kiosk alerting Walgreens customers that copyrighted content will not be processed.

Chose iMemeories to transfer a 31 year old VHS to disc. Had this done 2 years ago at a Walmart about 20 miles away where no copyright was confirmed and had several copies made. Needed more copies last May and Walgreens, 1 mile away, had iMemories apparently subcontracted for video transfers. After about 9 weeks, I called Walgreens to see if the copies had come in. Walgreen employees were unable to do anything but give me iMemories phone. Before I could call, I received a notification that the package was mailed back to me w/o charge. Took 3 days for Walgreen employees to find the package. Picked up and found that they had made no copes due to copyright infringement. Received a 2nd package from iMemories about 6 weeks ago, empty except for air filled cushioning. iMemories is unreliable. I will drive the 20 miles to get service and at a better price.

IMemories service is amazing. I sent in 97 tapes that were laying under my television dating all the way back to 1950 with reel to reel and VCR tapes of different kinds. Everything was mixed up and after they were digitized I was able to organize them and I have made Christmas gifts with years of memories. IMemories helped me each step of the way and I am so pleased and excited to think I have finally did something will all this stuff. They were great to work with.
