Great doctor and support staff. BUT their draconian rules for your support person are too much. I have 2 surgeries scheduled and my support person was told they would have to wait in the car for several hours during g the procedure. Who wants to wait in their car in freezing conditions for hours? In addition your support person is not allowed to go into the facility with you during appointments. Many people have vision issues and need support to find their way around CEI facility. I hope staff wakes up and understands without the patients they will cease to exist. I will give complaints with as many state and federal agencies as possible to get these rules relaxed
Pathetic. Unprofessional. I am disappointed and disgusted by the lack of experience and lack of treatment I received. Dr Hyde did not even do an eye exam before she sent me out the door. I would highly recommend dr goulet to anyone with glaucoma he has been a sight saver for me he has halted the progression of the glaucoma in both my eyes for approximately the last six years. I was treated elsewhere without any success in stopping the progression of the glaucoma. Dr goulet is extremely busy but he has always explained what is going on with the glaucoma and what he is doing to treat the glaucoma he also takes the time to answer any and all questions I have had. He has been a real god send for me
Every doctor I have seen at CEI has been very good. My one star review applies to the business, not the doctors. The CEI building in Blue Ash is huge with multiple waiting rooms. The must be more than 100 people waiting in various waiting areas at once. The problem is the intake or initial registration. It is so understaffed that when I arrived for an appointment, there was a long line of people waiting to check in. There were three people checking in patients but only one person at a time appeared to be helping peoplethe other two were doing things on their computers. An older man who was standing a couple of people in front of me was having trouble standing up for the 10 or 15 minutes it took just to get to the check-in desk. And when I went to check out, there also was a line and this time only one person checking out patients. CEI Is the only medical practice Ive ever been to that has treated people like this. I keep wondering: is it because they serve mostly old people and they figure old people dont care if they have to wait a really long time? Theres a simple solution here. Hire more people. And please dont use the labor shortage as an excuse. If you pay enough, youll be able to hire enough people.
