Worst POS ever. Always had problems with connections all the time. Would go down at the busiest time. Bunch of crooks who lie and steal your money. They always claim they have best customer service I disagree completely. The credit card processers they deal with still haven't refunded my money. Bunch of cons. Avoid it all all cost!!!!!!

Since you didn't state the name of the store, my team is not able to provide any facts on your case and working with hearsay is not to anyone's advantage. To be fair, we do come across users that occasionally have unstable/problematic internet connections. In those instances, you can switch to Lightning Emergency Mode temporarily, which is an offline mode designed for just such situations. We wish you all the best. Cheer up, life is grand.

Very bad software. Connectivity problems all the time. They brag about humans picking the phone and not automated machines well In this case machine should pick up phone because at least it has some answer to the problems. 24 hours open ? 5 pm office closes and after 5 pm some guy picks up the phone (personal phone I guess) who will give excuses and will blame somebody else. Avoid it.

My company has used Lightning since 2012 when we transitioned from a non-cloud system. It has been a key tool supporting my company's success as we've scaled to over 75 locations from about 20. The Lightning Corporate Office has been extremely helpful, delivering system-wide real time information and reporting of all our stores at our fingertips. I appreciate Tom and his team going the extra mile over the years to accommodate our many unusual and custom reporting requests.
