Received a glasses prescription from Hollywood Vision Center that was not suitable for my eyes. The glasses came with a prescription too strong. So i scheduled an appointment to see how to correct this issue. I waited in the waiting area for 40 minutes before seeing someone who told me that the prescription in the glasses was the same prescription they assigned me. And then they told me i would have to pay a $90 fee for a re-evaluation on my eyes. Waited another 45 minutes for an open room for the examination. At that point, I was done. What a waste of time.
First general appointment - really great. Brisco was articulate, obviously knew what she was doing and into alternative healing. The people in the glasses department were a little pushy but no big deal. Had trouble getting the second appointment because no one answered the phone. Tried emailing still nothing. After about three weeks got through and told they were changing office systems. Second appointment I was told would be 1 1/2 hours max, but took 2 1/2. I spent about an hour with the doctor and various techs, spent the rest waiting. These things happen, but the worst part was no one seemed to listen to or acknowledge me. Almost every time I tried to speak I was interrupted and left to wait for another 20 minutes. I had the feeling that no one cared about me In that office, and even began to wonder if they would all leave and forget I was there. They were so backed up, they tried to get me to come back to finish the appointment another day. When I expressed displeasure they relented and finished it up. I will go back because I think there brains and pockets of compassion there. I hope the administrative problems can be solved.
I've been going to Dr. Brisco's office since my daughter was a little girl in grade school. We've always had a good experience. I 'd recommend Hollywood Vision Center to anyone in need of a good eyecare center.
Dr. Briscoe is awesome. She took a great deal of time with my unique and unusual case. Even taking home her findings and asking colleagues about it. She went above and beyond. My case in particular requires some on going treatment and she has set out a course to improve my vision over time. I am excited to see the results as already what she has done for me has made a remarkable difference in my daily life. I would give her more starts if I could!
Very disappointing visit ,first time and last at this office ,they got my lens prescription wrong ,and when i called about it the person i talked to had me on hold for 10 min to tell me if i wanted what i had ordered, i had to pay extra ,when my insurance and them checked before i even got them ,nobody adjusted my glasses, so i had to do it myself,the girl that i talked to when i called back was very rude ,,
