We had an appointment for our 10,000 mile service coming up in a few days. In the meantime, we had a message come up on the screen that our brakes had a malfunction. My husband called and had to leave a message for the service department just before they closed for the day. He told them about the warning and that it would need looked at as well. When he went in for the 10,000 mile servicing, they finished and told him all was well and he could go. When he asked about the brake warning, he said they didnt know about it and there was no one there who could look at something like that. The guy he was talking to should have known about it because the tech who serviced the car wrote it down on the invoice because he saw it as well. He made him an appointment in the middle of next week. With a brake malfunction warning unchecked! After that, on the way home, an hour away, there came another message that there was a malfunction with cruise control. A warning light came on and when I looked it up, the manual said call the dealership and do not drive the vehicle. This is our only car and we now dont feel safe at all driving it. I have children who need to do scheduled things as well as I have to go to work. I feel like we are taking our lives in our own hands now. I still cannot believe he was sent on his way with warnings like that!!! I would think the dealership is facing a big liability situation. We have had very good experience with this dealership in purchasing the car and our 5,000 mile scheduled maintenance. Howevernot now!!!!

My vehicle needed the transmission replaced, along with some body repairs. Brett Shank and Mike Hill were able to work with my insurance and repair my vehicle promptly, as well as updating me along the way.
Toyota of Erie was the only dealership within 100 miles that could get the car we wanted (Prius) within a reasonable time frame. From the time the order was placed until delivery was a little over a month. Because it was over 30 days, we had to resubmit a loan application, which no one mentioned until the car arrived, but that was a somewhat minor inconvenience. It was MSRP, take it or leave it, and I had wanted to trade in my 2012 Tundra. The Tundra needed a power steering pump, but T of E estimated it also needed a power steering rack and was a $3600 repair. Because of that, I guess, they offered $7000, less than half of bluebook, and would not budge, so I kept the truck and got the pump repaired for $600. It is still running fine. If I were to do it again, I would consider any dealership within about 300 miles that could come up with a car, but I do really like the car, any other local dealerships were saying 7 or 8 months for delivery.
