Terrible service 4 weeks still no refrigerator why have a home warranty company if they can't get your fridge fixed or replaced. I've called 15 times. Ugly we'll still no refrigerator this is in human to let a family go with out a fridge I have kids and we can't store any amount of food . My

Horrible! Been going back and forth with them for the past 27 days for our AC unit. Never had any claims with them and now that we need them, they are playing game with us. I've been on hold for the past 38min to talk to someone. Bad service. Contractor came in told me something else and in his report wrote something different. Cash out value is offered to us for changing our AC unit is $55! :) Taking our money and providing with 0 service!

I have never had a worse experience with any company, ever. We have a major leak in our kitchen and have been unable to use our sink. We are literally doing dishes out of a bucket. They sent out a technician a week ago and we still haven't heard a single word from First American on next steps. We have called everyday and they said they are escalating the issue, but again, nothing happens. I've tried to speak to a supervisor and they are conveniently 'unavailable'. I've tried to ask for a refund so we can at least hire our own plumber who can help us - they said it's 'not possible'. Apparently some other department is handling this claim, so I asked to talk to them, but guess what! They don't 'accept phone calls'. Horrendous customer service and company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The company takes $85 unconditionally to see if it's covered by the home warranty. In addition, suppliers connected to them very naturally submit additional estimates that are not covered by the home warranty. Then, the warranty company asks if you want to proceed if there are items that cannot be covered by insurance over the phone. Of course, it is an urgent situation for me, so I will proceed. The subcontractor does not complete the work after receiving an additional double amount from me as well as a condition of advance payment. Scheduling tasks is also very difficult, and asking for card information in advance shows how poorly they are doing. The reason is probably because nobody wants to pay when they're done!!! Working with such a subcontractor reduces the credibility of this company. Who can trust this company in the future? Unfortunately, I can't pay more. Your subcontractor has already taken me $150 upfront, but they haven't finished the job, so we hired another contractor. For $85, please bill the subcontractor. I sincerely hope that 'First American Home Warranty' will be a reliable company that lives up to its name.
