I've never been to the Zippo lighter HQ. But I have owned a lighter. I still own the lighter. No issues what so ever best lighter ever. I had a different branded lighter it worked when I first got it then I guess it may have gummed up inside. A pressured can to fill it. Zippo is perfect. I am still yet to find out how the iconic sound is created. I tried YouTube and no luck so far. But keep up the great work Zippo. Oh another thing this product does not say made in China. It is probably one of if not the last thing to be fully made in America. Not even iPhone are made in America.

Sent my 20 yo zippo in to get the linchpin replaced. They sent it back and also replaced the wick, cotton, and flint but also cleaned up the wheel and the cassette. Very impressed by the service. Lifetime warranty still means a lot with this company.

My son bought me a lighter just teo months ago and it broke the pin in the wheel broke . I have a big collection of Zippo,s and they have no troubles for 25 years are you making they now with low parts for more money. I will not pay for another one for my collection that this low standards.
