Horrible experience - sent me faulty equipment, refused to exchange, only offered to have the manufacturer send me replacement parts which took a month to get and none of that worked!!

Buyer Beware!!! The short story is this; if you want to support a good company then put your money elsewhere. The overall experience was horrific, and customer service was a sorry & pathetic example. For starters I paid for a lift gate service ($50), I never received it because of my address was something they didn't service (was told this by the freight company after I had already paid on PED website). I was given 24 hours to resolve the issue. I could not resolve the issue in time through trying to get in touch with the freight carrier. PED requested a return of my product at my expense ($350). I was told by customer service that everything was my fault, and I would have to pay, regardless of trying to fix the issue with the freight company. To keep from paying the penalty (which wasn't my fault to begin with), I then drove an hour and a half to the freight company, and loaded the equipment myself. The only thing I requested was a refund on the lift gate delivery service (that seemed like a small ask to me). That was denied, still have not been refunded over a month later. The customer service with this company is Beyond Pathetic. Please take your business elsewhere or you run the risk of them taking advantage of you too! ***To top it all, the product was missing pieces on arrival***

We are sorry you were not happy with the interaction with our associate. In order to provide recommendations on models that will work for someone's application, we do need some information such as CFM, voltage, etc. to be able to suggest appropriate models. The call was reviewed and he did indicate that he was more than happy to assist once he had this information. We will use this as a coaching opportunity as it was not his intention to sound bothered. We apologize that it was taken in the wrong manner.

Following a call to your company where I received very rude treatment, I'm providing an update to show that I appreciate the owner's response. As I'd mentioned, I'm not out to give negative reviews if I don't have to. This update is not to excuse the associate's rudeness, but if the conversation serves as a coaching opportunity, I'll take that in a positive light and bump up my rating from 1-star. In the interest of fairness, I'll also remove the associate's name from the review; I'll remove the word "Avoid;" and I'll make a couple of follow-up comments from my perspective. In over 45 years of working with compressed air, not once have I ever cared about CFM. In this case, I simply need a reliable 60-gallon single-phase single-stage compressor that'll run on a 240v 20-amp or 30-amp circuit. Bonus points if it's on the quiet side. An easy sale! Re coaching, please understand that a potential customer's needs may vary. Better listening skills on the part of the associate would go a long way, and in no way did I deserve discourtesy. Thanks for your response and never stop improving.
