Thank you for the compliments on our staff. The buildings are not run down, they are historic and a minimum of 100 years old. Guides can be scheduled but are no provided with regular self guided admission.

Pleasant staff but rather run down buildings, no guides, very few helpful markers.
Thank you for your review and pictures! We hope to see you again!

This is a small local museum that features a Florida cracker farm and houses. The museum has a collection of antiques including farm equipment, loom and furniture. There are Longhorn Watusi, goats, chickens, wild hogs and a pair of Marshtakie cracker horses. If you enjoy cracker history youll enjoy this.
Perfect demonstration of old world #florida and 191 acres of natural old Florida's breathtaking beauty! There's a children's discovery path with all sorts of fun things to play on, a half mile long boardwalk that has some of the most beautiful and unique views in Florida, friendly live stock, amazing staff, furnished old Pioneer houses, a pioneer museum, hiking trails, camping, a folk school, an organic demo garden, active bee hives and local honey and youth education programs! A must see. I have been tons of times and I never tire of it!
It was nice and the people there where super sweet, got to learn about pioneers and native americans, but we didn't get to do candle making and such as listed. Overall nice place, but not sure why we didn't get to do that extra stuff.
This appears to be part of a recent untrue smear campaign. Unfortunately this review is completely false. On behalf of Crowley Museum & Nature Center I would like to clarify a few important points. First, no family owns CMNC. We are a 501c3 non profit governed by a board of directors. Second, the man who donated the land, Jasper Crowley never had any children so there is no way he bred a son. Its regretable that we have been falsely linked to something as hurtful and untrue as racism. Our main priority is to reach all people, but especially children. We teach agriculture, environmental stewardship, history, animal husbandry, camping and wilderness survival. We encourage anyone to visit and learn the true meaning and mission of our organization. You are more than welcome to call me directly to discuss your concerns. (859) 351-4954. Dixie Resnick President, Crowley Museum & Nature Center

A very inadequate museum . A waste of money amd time. Dont spend your money here! There are plenty of places with better and detailed information on history .
