Perhaps lets not push people into lower grade stores. I came in looking for a pair of socks (2). One for me, a female and another for my male friend as a gift but I was given one up and down glance, granted I was in shorts because it was 80+ degrees out, and told to look at target. Good for being well cleaned, having a great guide as soon as entering, and advice while looking around. Poor review for being rushed out by a woman that was on the phone the entire time. I grew up in State College but currently live in Chicago. Whenever I go back to visit I make a point to visit Harper's. I've bought everything from suits to belts to dress shirts from this store and love every piece that I own. The quality is exceptional and there is a great selection to choose from. To me, the Harper's experience meets or exceeds what I have encountered in a large city with many options.
Came for the trunk/bourbon tasting. No women's shoes, assumed there would be modeling, there was none. Not offered a tasting . My friend drove from Latrobe for the event. So disappointed.
