Not to bad of an apartment building, overall people keep to themselves but are also very friendly, the maintenance staff is excellent I dont think I have seen a better maintenance crew. Great price and great location if your going to San Jose State University.

Avoid living at 27 North at all costs. The new management here is incompetent and have an absolute disregard for the tenants. They refuse to talk to tenants and resolve issues, and keep the office door locked constantly. The manager hides in the back and the only way to communicate with the team is through a front desk worker sitting behind bulletproof glass. The complex is neglected and poorly taken care of. The rear elevator has been out-of-order for months now, and the garage door and main doors were broken for weeks. There was also no hot water in the apartment for almost a week. The apartment is full of smokers, including members of the management team, which leaves a disgusting odor throughout the apartment. Beware, they will be nice to you until you sign the lease with them. Read the other reviews, see for yourself. There is so much more I could write about. Any positive reviews you see here are written for the old management company. There is a reason why most residents are moving to the other apartments instead. Honestly, living in the dorms on-campus was a better experience. Go elsewhere, I lived here so you dont have to.

This place should actually be permanently closed now. Ever since new office staff came in its downhill i can feel it. Office hasnt been open in days. No email or hours update for office. Cant get packages or log into resident web. Things were great with old team, why mess up a good thing! Even google thinks this place should be shut down now.

I really enjoy living here. Everyone is friendly and respectful. I have been living here for 3 years and keep coming back because of the apartment complex being the center of downtown San Jose and the peace of mind I have each time I come home. Thank you!
