Dear Allen C. Furmanski, Your review is clearly malicious. We do not charge our customers for a design consultation. We provide design consultations free of charge to all new kitchens and bathroom vanities, not excluding any of our finishing carpentry services. We have countless customers around the Palm Beach Area and beyond that can attest to this fact. You are extremely unreasonable. We never did any work for you. We simply had a telephone conversation that lasted 1 minute and 24 seconds. You called our office, you said you have existing cabinets that we did not put in your home. You wanted us to provide a design to add accessories to them, of which we had no problem doing. A reasonable person understands the time it takes for our company to send out a Master Carpenter to your property, to spend time with you to design and custom a plan for cabinets we know nothing of. We would have had to spend extensive time Measuring up Designing Learning about you Learning about your cabinets Learning about your lifestyle in order to generate a custom design to be appropriate to your needs. You provided us with no information about your existing cabinets. We asked for a $75.00 fee and explained to you that we would credit it back to you 100% if you decided to go with our services, of which you failed to mention here in your 1 star review. A Master Carpenter hourly rate far exceeds that. A trip like this to your home could exceed 2 hours. You immediately got irritated after you asked if there was a fee associated with your request and we said yes $75.00, then you said something about our competitors and hung up. You waited days to then come on google and leave a 1 star review of which we only had 5 star reviews up until this point. You wanted us to commit to you on something very specific with no commitment from you. Your intention is clearly to harm our companys reputation, and you should delete this malicious review.

Called to inquire about kitchen cabinet pullouts and organization systems for my existing kitchen cabinets. They charge $75 to come out for a consultation. Every other company I've called does some kind of free consultation. That's not how to do business in my book. **UPDATE** Now they post a follow-up response to my original comment with FALSE info. My review was posted the same day after speaking with your company. I never hung up on them. My intent is to inform other potential customers to stay away from a place that is greedy and doesn't offer free consultations or is willing to take the initial time needed with potential customers. I've already had free on-site consultations from Shelf Genie and others lasting 2+ hours with very knowledgeable and personable reps.

We absolutely love our new kitchen designed and built by Glen Smith and his team. Glen has hands of gold. His expert work is beautiful. His wife Sherry is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet and work with, helping us through the construction with hand-holding and great advice. I had a full kitchen renovation including all cabinets, pantry door, island paneling, addition of vented hood, and entire back plash of stacked stone. The job was done with a high degree of professionalism and accuracy. Like previous reviews the attention to detail was very evident. Even though, at times, the job site generated a good deal of dust I found they even performed some vacuuming and dusting beyond the kitchen area. I am very pleased with the work and plan on using them on future projects.

Glen and Sherry from Carpentry Time were one of the best things about my move. Aside from my bathrooms looking amazing with the new cabinets, they went over and above board to help me with everything to do with my cabinets. Moving is so stressful and at a time that I had to redo almost everything in an older house, Glen and Sherry took all the stress out of redoing my bathrooms. I would give them 10 stars if possible. Carpentry Time came highly recommended, but now that the work is completed I am attempting to add to the praise . The work was highly professional, on time, and in budget. And, all of the work was done while I was 1,000 miles away ! I did not have to manage the project, it just ran smoothly. Carpentry Time is just plain WONDERFUL !
