Dr. Jones was great. However, her optician Clarke is a piece of work. He refused to release new prescription even though they were getting paid by my insurance. He started getting into a stupid argument with me. I called my insurance and shared my experience and the EyeMed supervisor was surprised at the ridiculous behavior of Clarke.

I made an appointment a good three weeks or so ago for my ten-year-old stepdaughter, and the office called an hour and a half before her scheduled appointment today canceling on me, saying that they do not accept her insurance. We are in the process of adopting her, but until then she can only have coverage through CPS Medicaid. When I made the appointment I gave the office her Medicaid number so they could run it and see if they accepted it. They did, and said we were good to go. Her eyes have been hurting her and causing her headaches. If not for the negligence on behalf of the office I could have started looking for another office to take her to weeks ago, instead of her suffering these past weeks waiting for her now nonexistent appointment. I asked the receptionist if she could refer me to an office who takes her insurance and she could not. Canceling so last minute is highly unprofessional, rude, and disappointing.

My family and I have been getting our eye exams with Contact Lens and Eye Care Gallery for several years (even at their prior location) and we love the warm and timely customer service. The accuracy of my eyeglasses prescription is super important since I wear progressive lenses and Dr. Jones always gets it perfect! I have a condition with my cornea that makes it very difficult to find the right prescription. Dr Jones was the first optometrist that could get my prescription spot on the first time. Ive been coming here for over 11 years and wouldnt think of going anywhere else. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. I always have a good experience during my visits.

My experience ended on the rude phone call from this office. I never had a chance to meet a doctor, even though my husband gets his eyes are here and kart time he spend close to 1k on 2 glasses. The girl who called me after I scheduled an appointment had an attitude with me over the phone. She said that I need to call my insurance and straighten out with them. I've never been to the eye doctor this year and have very good insurance and coverage. When I asked to explain what was the issue, she said "I apologize you don't know you insurance benefits!". Not going to even come to this office. If you can't be professional over the phone, how do you expect people to come and give you their business!
