Hi Cody, thank you for leaving a review. Our shop, like other shops in this area, charge for fills by the cubic foot of air that you use, and charge different prices for different types of fills (air, nitrox, etc.) instead of simply charging a flat fill rate. This is a standard procedure among dive shops in this area. Our prices are listed on our website and are explained upfront before tanks are rented out. We were happy to assist you today in renting tanks and also in repairing your equipment at no charge to you. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and hope you understand that we do all that we can to charge a fair price for our services.

The people are extremely friendly, but the prices are outrageous. $9 per tank rental, but that is for an empty tank. You have to pay another $7 per tank to have them fill it. I have never seen a dive shop not include the full tank when you rent it. I will be perfectly clear, that I did have a seal that detiorated and I came back to the shop where they put a new one of my bcd. I paid for the part and the guy put the seal on the inflator to make sure I fit before I purchased the parts.

Hi Andrew, thank you for taking time out of your Thanksgiving evening to leave a review. Obviously there are a couple of issues here that I would like to address. First, if you do not like our dog, that is FINE. We understand that and are not offended that you would choose to go elsewhere. But to make false, unsubstantiated claims that she has bitten people, is slander. Regardless of whatever rumors you have heard, we can assure you that anyone who actually got bit by a dog at a business would have started a lawsuit, or at the very least brought it to the attention of the owners. Of course, that hasn't happened, because this dog is trained to bark, not bite. I think you would feel differently about a barking dog if you were running a business at an address with an average police response time of over 45 minutes. The second issue, which is much more serious, is your statement that one of us would shoot someone. This is outrageous and nothing but slanderous. I hope you are aware that every shop owner in this area carries a firearm. In fact another popular shop that you mentioned just opened a gun shop within their business. The presence of a gun on a hip does not constitute "intimidation" as you've described it, nor does a conversation you overheard about said gun. To state that a customer will get shot, and to imply that will be a GOOD thing as it will lead to new owners, is absolutely vile. Finally, we have no record of you making a purchase here, and the copy of this review that you shared on Facebook is under a profile with a fake name. So we have no way of determining if you have even been here. Certainly you could have spoken to us about your "concerns" while you were here, or you could have simply decided not to come back in the future. Instead you took to the internet to make two extremely serious accusations. Thank you for not returning to our shop. EDIT: If someone was bit- which again, not a single person has been bit by our dog, or notified us as such- that person can take the issue up with us. We would be able to pull up our camera footage to verify that claim if they wished us to do so. Also again, we have zero record of you ever being at our shop. I do not understand why you are so angry over grumpy employees and a grumpy dog. It is the definition of slander to make false accusations about dog bites and the threat of gunfire. The dog barks because not everyone who pulls into our parking lot is a paying customer, and I would rather lose a paying customer than be robbed or assaulted in my shop (both of which have been attempted). As you are (1) not a verified customer and (2) not the victim of a dog attack or gun violence, I suggest you take your outrage elsewhere.

This is place is not the same as it was. And it should not be the same as it has different owners who need to make it their own. However, Adam is extremely rude and has literally trained his dog to charge and bark and grow at customers. his dog did this to me while I was carrying scuba tanks. He then told his Dog "good job"... This place is not welcoming in the least bit. One day that dog will bite the wrong person and you will get a lovely lawsuit or someone may shot the dog in self defense. But I am sure you will shoot that person as well as you like to intimidate folks by talking and pointing to your sidearms, Which is ok. The gun is not the issue, I love guns, just stating a fact, So, when that happens a new owner will emerge and hopefully make this a more welcoming place. I don't understand how this dog has bit customers, and one person twice and yet nothing changes. I am more than Happy to go to Jim Hollis or drive to Amigos or Cave Country. Your prices and place has so much potential, but your customer service, attitude, rudeness and aggression towards paying customers is appalling. This is not right and remember, the Dog is not the Issue, there are no Bad Dogs, Only Bad owners and trainers. EDIT. To your comments, Frist, my real name is Andrew Dutton and if you look at Facebook HTML link you can see my name. Next, nothing said is slander. you know who the dog has bit and and you blew it off. You say you train the dog to bark and not bite, fine. You still train the DOG to show Aggression and use it as a toll for intimidation to your paying customers, out of your own admission.
