Hello, I wish we could have come to a conclusion before you made this review. You were quick to write a review before we had any info. Your board was shipped over 9 months ago. It took us time to figure out the whole story. You asked us to ship a board to Vietnam. We charged you in addition of board purchase, shipping. 9 months later you wrote us email, "I want my money back", with no description of who you are or why. We are still wondering whats going on.

Thanks for the review. Wed like to take the opportunity to help others understand that the weather is never on our schedule. We cant get every forecast correct. Yes we had to cancel your lessons but we cant teach in no wind. When trying to book out of season lessons, patience is most valuable. We are sorry your booking didnt happen because of the wind. We advise all, including you to call us to make a booking. Get in the books, worst case we cancel and move to a new date. Kiteboarding is tough to get into but if you try to follow our lead you can do this. Good luck in your adventures. When youre ready to start again. Elite will be here. We are confident we will earn your business eventually.

My wife and I called the shop to set up to take lessons. They said they'd call us when weather conditions were favorable. 6 weeks later and plenty of good wind - we did not receive a call. So we went to the store and talked to the owner and his store worker. She took all the info incl credit card and said it must have been a computer glitch that nobody called us. We were hopeful only to not having received any notification to take lessons now another 8 weeks later. Since I can't review the quality of their lessons, but business wise i give them a 'zero'. If the business is too busy - tell your customer that you don't accept new students. But to waste our time twice taking our info and making empty promises is simply unacceptable. We will take our time and money elsewhere. $10000 loss in revenue and not selling equipment packages to us. Hope someone there takes responsibility. Update... Owner responded and said I should be calling to make appointment, where his employee at the store said they would call us... again, not complaining about how they teach, but the way they run the business and lead on clients to believe that they get to learn to kiteboard. And i understand weather probably better than them, due to my profession teaching about weather... so that is another excuse. Plenty of wind the last few weeks

So far these guys have been great. A-a-ron is a super cool dude, and having just moved to the area has been very helpful. Didn't try to sell me anything, just provided information and suggestions. That being said, they are very reasonable on process and have plenty of equipment available.

Today I had a jumping lesson with Tanner and it was awesome!!! He gave very thorough instructions, I feel so much more confident boosting! Elite Watersports has superior customer service and they are now my go to kite shop! Thanks for such a great day on the water!
Johanna we are greatly sorry for that day. It was not a great start from the beginning. Normally that location is vacant and zero people around. We are also sorry that you were thinking it was a 2 hour lesson, We have always done 1.5 hours, basically the life of the battery. We did reach out via email and offered a discount and apology. We did credit you back 10% in hopes to redeem some of our issues. We do want to show you an amazing time on the water and hope that you'll return. E-Foiling instructions was minimal and not a great area. For the most part I had a fun time and the instructor was nice and friendly. Though it was my first crack at this, I was able to get up and ride. I attribute this however to having Stand Up Paddle boarding experience and having great balance. Having said this: The instruction was minimal. It was pretty much here's how to start the board and put your front foot this way, now stand up. I'm really glad I watched a couple of YouTube videos beforehand bc I was interested in this. This is where I got all of the instructions on a step by step basis IE: Step 1-Get acclimated on your board by sitting on your knees, STEP 2......... etc 2-The area we used is a known as a jet skiing area , which was not conducive to learning. Having people zooming around creating wakes, is nerve racking when your trying to get and stay on the board for the first time. Note, it was also exacerbated bc it was Memorial day weekend so I'm sure there was a lot more activity than usual. 3-I paid $300.00 for 2 hours and I only got 1.5 hour instruction because of their poor time management. I stood around for the first half hour bc they had scheduling issues and they were expecting one other person but instead it was 2 other ppl. I raised this issue with Jim from the office who never responded. Updated: In response to to your reply. Thank you I always appreciate a business that addresses issues and I did receive the 10% credit. But why is it advertised as a 2 hour lesson when the battery only lasts for 1.5 hrs?
