Dr. Smith walked through the entire contact lens process in details. Very welcoming both the doctor and the receptionist. Facility is neat and clean. Very professional with what they are doing. Totally recommend.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Smith and his courtesy and professionalism surpassed my expectations! He had no idea that I am a bit of a germaphobe so seeing him clean all the equipment before using it on me was a huge thing for me! Not only was Dr. Smith courteous and professional but he also had a wealth of knowledge to address my concerns! His office is quietly tucked into a nice office building, he has a nice variety of eyewear to choose from and his receptionist was very nice as well. You would be doing yourself a huge favor by allowing Dr. Smith to help with your optometry needs!!! 5 stars all the way!!

The following is my husband's review of Dr. Smith: I don't live in NYC, but had a contact lens issue while visiting. I found Dr. Smith via a simple internet search and was impressed by his reviews. Fortunately he had an opening and I was able to get in quickly. My experience was so exceptional that I felt compelled to leave my comments. The staff was very courteous and attentive. No attitude whatsoever. The same is true of Dr. Smith. He took his time with his complete and professional examination as well as the explanations and answers to my many questions. He was clearly knowledgeable and experienced, as one would expect, but also very honest. I needed hard contact lens replacements, which are more expensive than soft lenses, but he explained that because I was in the city for such a short time it wasn't ideal. I even suggested that he prescribe me the lenses and mail them to me, but he still didn't like the idea of selling me something for which he couldn't do the proper followup. I ended up getting the (cheaper) soft lenses and actually love them. I am a physician myself, and I know what constitutes courteous, professional and empathetic medical care. Dr Smith is amazing! Hes extremely thorough and made my annual eye exam very pleasant! Went back for a follow up dry eye exam and he was so knowledgeable and was able to explain to me in a way that way very very easy to understand. Definitely recommending him to everyone I know!
