Oh no, Jay Bee, I'm sorry that you had such an unfortunate experience. It is not our intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable. We do enforce that masks are properly worn in our store, usually that is not a problem.. I am sorry that came across as rude. I hope that someday (perhaps post Covid) you will give us another chance. Absolutely cannot explain our horrific experience enough through these reviews. I was so excited to take my daughters to the toy store I grew up going to! We drove quite a ways to come pick out a couple gifts for my daughters birthday that day. The second I walked in the door, just as excited as my kids, I was profiled, due to my different appearance than who they prefer. The only way I could stay in the shop was if I wore a medical grade mask (my mask is fabric like everyone elses, just sparkles) I have worn the same style masks this entire ordeal. Never experienced anything like this. That was the moment I began recording. Everyone in the place was wearing fabric masks (although at least one of the clerks put on a medical grade under hers when we werent in sight like I said, I started recording everything, they do not have them on when they had me change, and they did not ask a single other customer to change theirs.) I would have gladly left, but my girls were SO excited, and we hadnt even made it past the counter!! They ended up following us, insanely around the store. I was scared to touch anything smaller than my purse. When they noticed I was recording, they just kept doing even more to make it awkward. I didnt even notice they charged me double, until I got to the car, and charged me more for other items, than marked. I was so upset. This was going to be a magical experience for us on my daughters birthday! I went back in, recording yet again, stating I didnt even notice because we were so uncomfortable. If you are white and live in a close proximity, this place will be an absolute joy!!! I am insanely disappointed, and spreading the word, so no other person outside of their target market has anywhere near the same experience. This place use to be such a joyful place.

Hi Michelle, I'm so sorry that you came all the way and we didn't have what you were looking for. We are definitely more focused on kid friendly chemistry, biology, robots and science kits and tools now. We do still carry all of the basic chemicals and tools that a child or student might require for exploring their interest in science. Now that it is under new ownership it is certain more to a toy store and less of a science store. The things I went in to get they don't carry anymore. Very Disappointed in their science election. They should take the science part off of their name.

If you are looking for a present for a person Young old, this place has everything you could want. I lean towards toys and gifts that will challenge the mind and they have many. The staff is wonderful and helpful and hey, they wrap your presents for you. What could be better.
