I was trying to find a new home since my old home is almost an hour away. However Im epileptic and have a service animal. When I attempted to go and enjoy service like everybody else like a normal person they refused me because I could not bring my service animal in. To me church is supposed to welcome all those shapes and sizes disabled not disabled those who have a past and those who were raised in the church. The church is supposed to welcome everybody regardless of the situation and the embarrassment and the lack of empathy I faced is just Appalling . I went here before when I was younger before I was diagnosed and it was all right but you still had some people who would give nasty looks to those who werent always the same. After my experience with them and being told that I could sit in the lobby because I have a service animal instead of enjoying it like everybody else. That only comes to Reinforce what I already know this church its not very welcoming to everyone. You can find some good ones and some genuine people But when youre turned away from someone who is supposed to be a spiritual leader it just doesnt feel like a home.

I've been in and out of this church for 3 years. I couldn't find my place in this church. My husband once tried to talk to the pastor after a service but you have to make an appointment. By then the rush of emotion and touch is gone. I'm glad I have found a new church elsewhere but I had just visit Abundant again for worship and praying night. My last straw with this church is because I'm not allowed to video my own daughter in the class while waiting in line to sign her out. I got scolded at. No where does it state that I can't take pictures or videos and I did not sign anything as well. What gives them a right to take pictures of our kids to post on social media to promote their kids church without our permission? Doesn't make sense. This church thinks their high and mighty.

I was very concerned that the pastor needed security right next to him. It made me feel very uneasy like something bad was about to happen. It was my 1st time attending here and it was very hard to concentrate.
