Nothing special here. Decent place. I've seen better places with better haircuts. Went there once and for sure I won't be back. First thing is that it is by appointment only. I scheduled the appointment before coming in, but at the time I showed up, the barber didn't know I was on his list and that he had to cut my hair... Long story short, asian lady cut my hair. It was a quick so-so cut. Possibly I can do the same thing myself. Not sure if she tried to finish it fast and did not do her best job because of her other customer waited for her. But I've had better hair cut done at other places. Pricewise this place is higher what I usually pay doing haircut in SF. Summarizing it all: Did I get my haircut done here? - Yes, i did Was that one of the best haircut I ever had (or close to the best) ? - No it was not. Satisfied with haircut (1-5) - 3 Price range - Higher than expected.

The staff were friendly enough, but my haircut was shoddy. To start, I had quite a bit of hair to get rid of and my cut is in two lengths, but Anna didn't bother to figure out which part was which; she ended up cutting the hair that I was trying to keep longer along with the shorter parts. I caught her fairly quickly, but it shouldn't be my job to keep track of that. In the end Anna couldn't cut a straight line so one side of my haircut is jagged instead of straight. On top of that she didn't bother to keep it symmetrical so now I have a the haircut line about 3/4" higher on one side of my head. It's going to take many months of regrowing my hair to recover from this hack job. I guess you do get what you pay for, and the mythical reasonably priced haircut in San Francisco remains a pipe dream. If you have the sort of haircut you could do yourself in the bathroom in 30 minutes, come on down because Anna will do it in 15 but if you require skill instead of speed look elsewhere. As for "recognizing" everyone that comes there, well Anna recognized me as soon as I arrived, which was strange since I'd never been before. I guess if you pretend to recognize everyone who walks in the door, you're only wrong on their first visit.

Eric is a top notch barber, who will have you looking very clean! Unlike other barbers, he can actually hold a normal conversation and has a good head on his shoulders.
