Hi Tom, this is not true and we will be seeking action to have this review removed. We were overcharged for contracted bus transportation by around $450, and after attempting to reach this company by phone and email for 2 weeks with no response, we contacted our credit card company to dispute ONLY the amount that was overcharged ($450). We did not charge back the entire amount, that is simply not true. Avenue Event Group always pays every vendor, and to say that we don't pay is libel.

The worst company in town. Never use this company for any corporate events. Recently, they contracted us for some service and they never paid the bill which was $ 6k. They charged exorbitant amount of money from a corporation to manage a corporate travel and they never paid the vendors. If you hire this company the vendors can come after you. Beware. Their modus operandi is arrogant and thuggish. Again, you have no idea what you are getting into.

We had an event at Plant Street Market and the food, drinks and service were excellent. The only reason for a 3 star review instead of a 5 star review is because on the day of the event we were told that the weather was going to be cold and if we would like heaters they were available for $250/ea. Two heaters ended up being 25% of our total expense. I only wish that our comfort would have been the top priority of the venue and not a significant last minute expense for us.

Had the pleasure of attending their most recent event Ms. Trippys Emporium and this event company absolutely blew it out of the water. They did an outstanding job with the event space and the entire staff was friendly and professional. My friends and I had a wonderful time. We will definitely attend more events from Avenue Event Group.

I recently coordinated a corporate event at The Balcony in Orlando for 140 people...Megan and Yolanda made it so easy! If you're looking to host an elegant event with minimal effort and no stress...trust The Balcony! Communication was superb and often initiated proactively. When changes had to be made, they were executed properly on the first attempt. Most importantly, all I had to do was share my vision with Megan and Yolanda and they worked directly with each outside vendor (i.e. floral, catering) to bring it to life. Their preferred vendors were outstanding! We will definitely be using aVenue Event Group for our next event, if possible.
