The movers broke numerous furniture pieces moving items too quickly even with our comments of please be gentle and slow down. A dresser drawer fell from a movers hand that was skipping (yes skipping), and he lost control of his footing and broke the drawer in front of us. Then a chest was scratched up that is one of our most favorite items that we possess. A bookcase was not put back together because the crew forgot to bring the hardware to the house. The crew leader (I think Jeremy) said he would be back the next day and I waited all day awaiting a call and his return of the hardware and putting back together the bookcase. He came back the day after I called corporate but only after he was done at another site, and was hours later than he stated he would be. The bookcase was put back together improperly and it still broken. Also, we found out a few months later that our guest bed frame was put back together missing 3 structural screws and could have broken on any one of our guests sleeping. I had to go to the store to get the missing hardware and reassemble our bed frame to make it safe. I will never ever use Gentle Giant again and due to the horrible experience we had and I will use word of mouth to steer people away from this moving company.

My crew was very efficient, very friendly, helpful and quick in both loading and unloading the truck. They were so nice, and treated everyone with respect and courtesy. I could not be happier with the service they performed, and they made my moving day so much less stressful!

Overall the movers where nice and pleasant. However it took 10 hours to move an 1800 sq ft row home 20 miles away. We also had to pay for their lunch hour at $260/hr. We had a couple broken items (One of the movers was honest about one of them) we only discovered our broken bed frame once we attempted to put it on the wall. They also spilled dirt on the floor of the old house and didn't clean it up. Overall we are moved but it took a long time and had a couple items broken. Not the greatest value IMO. Edit: finding more broken pieces. And I was also told that the movers said I told them to leave dirt on the floor. I'm also being told that the crew of 4 didn't take a lunch during a 10.5 hr day. Edit2: The company reached out and acted as if they wanted to resolve this. Had me fill out some claim forms and such. I did all this and now they have gone silent for 2 plus weeks.
