I haven't had my hair cut or purchased anything from this establishment but the atmosphere and staff will prevent me from doing so. There is an air of superiority and exclusiveness that seems out of place. Compared to Heimies downtown this is a much worse store and Heimies has extremely friendly staff and barbers.
It's fun to come across a business that is laid back, REALLY good at what they do and you can drink beer with them. Go get groomed here, your significant other will thank you for it. Walked in, Justin greeted me, already knew my name based on the time, offered me an IPA and then proceeded to answer every question I had regarding my beard, how to trim said beard and how exactly he was doing it. I'm far from a beard trimming master, but I have been doing it myself with a clippers for about 2 years. I think I spent 30 minutes (during the beard trim session) grilling Justin with questions about how care for the beard. This dude is knowledgeable and wasn't shy at all about showing me how to do it if I wanted to keep doing it at home (or at Fellas), which I really appreciated. I could tell he wasn't trying to sell me on anything, but just wanted to help his customers with the knowledge he has. Last, my wife liked it and that's all that really matters.
