Ive been a customer on three products so Ill try to be as honest and straightforward as possible. First of all Dominick has been a thorough and terrific fitter. I was a Club Champion customer in Chicago so I was keenly familiar with their vast inventory of shafts and club heads. I dont think anyone can match them in both quality of fitters and ability to find the right shaft/club combo. My issue has been the quality of workmanship on my built deliverables. The driver I was fitted with came back with the Golf Pride logo on the underside of the shaft. Not standard but in my excitement I let it slide. I later was fitted for Callaway irons. They arrived with the shafts the wrong length. They needed to put in extenders on all but a few. Lastly I recently ordered an extra shaft for my driver. It arrived with a pesky epoxy particle (or maybe shaft fragment) that annoying slides up and down the new shaft during my swing. My local pro has tried to vacuum it out but hasnt had any luck. The Naples Club Champion sends specs to Chicago for the build and then they ship back. Not ideal because if something goes wrong everything needs circle back to Chicago and thats time consuming. Ive written an email to Dominick and explained that at this price point this stuff shouldnt happen and how I feel. My hope is they turn it around soon before this glutton for punishment tries someone else.
Update- changing from 1 to 2 stars solely due to Justin. He has truly been the best part about this whole experience. After talking to him he gave me options to help rectify the abnormally long wait time on the clubs. If it wasnt for Justin I would recommend people use a different company however his dedication and care to customer service makes all the difference. I hope the club champion corporate team sees this because if it wasnt for one extremely stellar employee I would despise my club champion experience. Special thanks to Justin! He has made a big impact especially after the corporate headquarters told me toughon all my issues! I will be a repeat customer as long as Justin is there. Sounds like I am in the majority based on the reviews below. The fitting was great and Justin was awesome! (Even though he wasnt the one working with me I give him all the credit since part way through my fitting the gentlemen I was working with expressed it was his last day with the company. It was apparent he just wanted to get done with the day so a lot of my fitting was based on self determination and Justins input) that was disheartening but the company cant control every aspect so understandable. Now after being told to expect a 4-8 week time frame I found out 6 1/2 weeks in (by calling headquarters, no one reached out to me) that best case scenario I have another 8-10 weeks before I see my clubs. So roughly 14 weeks from time of fitting is the earliest I can expect the clubs I paid in full with cash for.. very disappointing. More disappointing is the lack of communication. For 5k worth of purchases (full bag minus the putter) they would at least prioritize communication a little better. My advice unless youre a pro or scratch amateur golfer just get yourself a nice namebrand set. You may not get that extra 10 yards you want but youll save yourself roughly 2 to 3 grand and youll actually be able to use them the year you ordered them!!
I was a bit nervous going in as Im just an average golfer but wanted to do this one time to get a set of clubs that fit me exactly. I did the full bag fitting with Jordan, who made me very comfortable and explained every step in easy terms. It was amazing how he found the problem areas and found fixes in club, length, angle etc. He even made a tweak to my grip which helped a bunch. Overall an outstanding experience and Im looking forward to my new, custom set up, clubs!

I tried making a full bag club fitting before the 50%off today on 1-19-22. The discount ends on 1-31-22. I left an email on Club Champions web site to be contacted to see if a day or time is available? Justin called me at 8 pm and said there are no openings during fitting discount period. I asked if I scheduled a fitting at a later date could I get the fitting discount? Justin stated he was sorry but we have available times in February if Im interested? I personally feel that this person os costing the Pittsburgh location a lot of money by turning customers away. If this is a company policy Im glad Im taking my business elsewhere. Chuck Shumaker.
