TLDR: Aviva messed up my order and values $10 more than clients. Siser is better quality. Ive shopped with Aviva wholesale and the Atlanta location for years and Ive never had an issue other than the flock vinyl sliding in my cameo (which means I end up buying more to replace the ones that slide) but anyways up until now everything has been fine. My last experience will probably be my last though. Instead of the white flock vinyl I ordered, I received regular white vinyl. I let Aviva know and they responded with a tracking number, however with my order needing to be shipped today, I will have to go out to Michaels to get the vinyl, so I dont need a replacement. I requested a refund and the additional cost of having the Michaels order delivered because my husband is at work with our car. They said they could not because they already shipped the replacement (which I doubt, because I responded right away so all they did was create a label.) I let them know I was disappointed at the resolution and that they value $10 more than their clients. Then I realized I also received black regular vinyl instead of the black flock I ordered too. So my entire order was missing flock and they seem to be uninterested in helping with a solution for my order that needs to go out TODAY. Its very telling of their values. Im a business so I understand profit margins etc. but when you mess up you make it right. Because of their mistake I have to buy two rolls of stripflock from Michaels now and take the time to go into the store and buy the second roll because its too late for same day delivery. Those are $23 dollar rolls that Im out of the money for and they wont even give me $10 for the fee to get it delivered. No more wasting my time with their vinyl that messes up in my machine (siser stripflock cuts perfectly) Ill just have to adjust my pricing to support a business that has higher quality and better business values.
I LOVE Aviva , Before Aviva i had to drive around Harwin and make different stops for different materials & then comes Aviva . It has it all ! At a very good price too. Definitely a great place for crafters.
I'm not one to write negative reviews, so this is a first for me... Short and sweet: We'll be keeping our business with the Aviva Dallas warehouse - not this Houston warehouse. This may sound petty, but as a small business owner who is growing her business, every dollar counts for my wife. #1 We have an active account at the Aviva Dallas warehouse. We were passing through Houston and decided to go ahead and stop at their warehouse here to pick up a cart full of supplies for some orders that came through while we were on vacation (would have been two cart fulls, but this branch doesn't have as wide a range to offer as the Dallas branch - so we only spent $250 here). Turns out, they don't connect your account between stores, so you have to setup a whole new account for each store you visit... Also turns out you have to WAIT to use it... At least according to "management" in an email... #2 Yes, that means if you purchase $230.xx in supplies, they will charge you the tax even after supplying them your Texas Sales and Use Tax Permit and fill out a Texas Sales and Use Resale Form-01-339. #3 Pretty sure their QuickBooks accounting software I see them using doesn't tell them they aren't allowed to refund sales tax... But yes, they claim they are "not able to refund taxes"... But yet, somehow, whether it be a huge company like Office Depot, or even a smaller company, like your Aviva Dallas location has been able to refund taxes after a sale because they know that LEGALLY it is not their money, it goes directly to the state/county/city when filing to the Texas Comptroller... #4 You want to know our transaction number to speak with the cashier, yet won't refund the measly $20 in taxes... Wait, shouldn't you be able to look it up using our account you created with your QuickBooks accounting software I see on that monitor during checkout??? Don't try to blame the cashier on your poor business "management", whomever is responding to our emails.
