Hello, I have a very bad experience with Kia of Des Moines. I wanted to trade my SUV which has hail damage after repair but they are trying to rip me off. They offered 20,000 for the SUV which will be fully repaired at their collision center. But this SUV is about 35.000$ in the market. The damage repair will not depreciate the car's value of 15000$. It officially rips off me.

Update 9/26- I havent received a call from anyone. I purchased a 2018 Kia Forte 2ish years ago and all has been good until about 3 months ago when my engine started to overheat. After bringing it in 3-4 times (I truly lost track), today I finally got it back after about a month and a half of them having it this most recent time. The previous times, as soon as I drove it off the lot the engine light would come on and it would overheat again within a week. Service Advisors were kind, but I think its weird that I had to call for updates over the time they had it. Half of the time I got no answer. The only time they call is to let me know that its ready to be picked up. When I came to get it today, the woman at the service desk made me, a six month pregnant woman, walk to the very back of the lot to get my car in the rain. Any other time it was driven to me, just something else that I found weird. Runs well now (as expected with a new engine), but my AC is not blowing cold air so Ill have to take it in yet again. I may be young, and I do not know a lot about cars, but I do know good customer service and this experience has not been it. Definitely one thing after another and Im just really not impressed unfortunately.

Dont buy a car from this manufacturer unless you prefer to litigate with a company that does not warn you of their shorty manufacturing. This company sold thousands of vehicles with no immobilizer chip in the key, having the resources necessary to include this they havent even issued a recall. They actually wanted to charge me for the installation AFTER my vehicle was stolen. Choose a company thats honest, meets basic security standards, and will take responsibility. In short, not a Kia
