I really enjoyed the flounder plate, freshly cooked, not overly seasoned. There was just two problems, half my cabbage was missing and I didn't get the tartar sauce I ordered and when Will M gave it to me he told me it was in there should have checked allow me to update this review.... Manager thought I should have spoken with him, this was a togo order and drove to Wendell, NC with it. I ordered the tartar sauce when I ordered my meal and I shouldn't have to tell this restaurant to give me my full portion. I paid $19.27 for slaw, two pieces of regular size flounder, 1/2 portion of overcooked cabbage and no cornbread.... So great fish or not I give this establishment, one , no need to reply Mr. manager...
It was just ok... maybe because I got the Philly steak and cheese. They had a good onion ring appetizer and I did really like the free basket of hushpuppies and biscuits. Yum! Service was super slow (sign on door warns of this) but waitress was very nice. Would go back and try something else.
Hi Monica. Of course we are sorry to read of your experience. Our manager apologized to you several times during your conversation, assured you she would personally speak with your servers about this and offered a replacement meal as well. You were informed that we also have quite a few new staff members as things for our business, as with most service businesses, have been very challenging since covid and turnover is, unfortunately, more than in the past. We are not making excuses, and we do our very best to train all of our new folks as best we can, but we (and they) are human and imperfect, many here working their first job ever, and on occasion, errors happen by us all. Of course, it is never our intention to offer unsatisfactory food or service to anyone. Our track record and thousands of 4 and 5 star reviews are indicative of our standards. We will note, however, that our menu is clear. Our Baby Back Ribs (both half and full racks and exclusive to pork) are clearly denoted under the PORK category on our menu and there are no kind of ribs listed under our BEEF category. Our daily specials board also denotes baby back ribs. There are no beef baby back ribs. We are sorry the credit and sincere apology offered was insufficient and dismayed you have chosen not to visit us again but you are always welcome should you choose to come back.

I ordered a burger and a rib plate asked if ribs were beef the young lady said yes several times got them ate a piece myself and boss they were pork we both became sick because we dont eat pork. Im very disappointed with the way management handled this situation as if its nothing major offered me a $16 credit thats not worth my gas or time. Will never eat here again as much as it saddens me.
