I normally don't review small businesses this way but I fear someone out there may have important data they need recovered. You may only have one shot to recover your data. So you need to be warned now. This whole process took 4 months, start to finish and while I attempted to contact the employees the excuses and the timing kept being extended. They also offer a "rush" service for 100 dollars that doesn't feel like a rush at all? I would avoid this all together if they are going to take their time anyway. If the total fee for a service is 1300$ It's best the customer knows when that cost will indeed happen. 1 month from now? 4 months from now? I told them before in an email the communication was lacking and when given a target for 2 weeks ( after waiting 3 months already) I again heard nothing...after 4 weeks... to the point where I wanted my phone back. This is why communication is important. I'm sure they expect to be paid in a timely fashion so a decent response would help. Customers shouldn't have to call once a month to see if the product is indeed being worked on ( which towards the end I really don't know). If it's going to take 4 months of almost radio silence, tell the customer.
I just searched our email to find out who you are and what happened. It looks like you placed a recent an order from our old ecommerce site that we moved away from 6 months ago. We dont check that system very frequently and it should have redirected you to our current supply store. I will look into why that didnt happen. The old store will be officially disabled on Jan 1 2022 so this shouldnt happen to anyone else. Im sorry we were not as responsive as we needed to be.

The repair service is phenomenal but the store experience not so much. Spent a bit over a thousand dollars and one of the items wasn't working. After multiple calls and emails that ended up being unreturned (or answered only for me to be told to email which was then not responded to) I had to contact the manufacturer so they could resolve the issue. Now the manufacturer has completely resolved the issue including me shipping the item to California and back and I still haven't heard anything from the staff at iPad Rehab. Just buy anything straight from the manufacturer of you anticipate needing after purchase support.
My android phone died and I took it to several places locally to try and retrieve my data that was foolishly not backed up. I was told that the only and best place to send it was to iPad Rehab. While the wait time to hear back, once my phone had arrived and was added to a tech's queue, was longer than originally estimated, my data was retrieved. I am so grateful to Mark and iPad Rehab. I highly recommend them.

Memory upgrade is not in your best interest. It is 10x cheaper to sell a working low storage device and buy a higher storage device. Why pay so much more to purchase expensive high storage chips, ruin the factory seal, risk a delicate surgery, use expensive specialty read/write programmers, and then install a NAND with no factory waterproofed underfill. We dont offer services that dont make sense for you.
