Edit: This is all on video.I have security footage to prove this isdeamatory story, full fulsome despite apologisy and correction, this could afflict permante damages to my business my solicitor will be contacting you. You were fitted in last minute as we felt for you after you called our salon very upset telling us you had turned up at another local salon for your booked appointment and they casually yold they hadn't got a stylist in, letting you down. It was an exceptionally busy Saturday. I explained to you before arrival that we only had our recently qualified Junior available, she wouldn't be able to offer Balayage (which had been booked the other salon) but could offer either a cut & finish or a cut, finish & full head highlights. You expressed that you be grateful for anything as had large root regrowth from lockdown. Before treatment started you were consulted by our Junior, myself and our senior stylist of 20 years. You decided to go for the colour, cut & finish. You were sat in our window station seat to ensure 2 meter distances during our busy time and inline with our Covid policy. Over the duration of your treatment you were frequently checked on, chatted to and served refreshments by myself, our receptionist and our senior stylist. You were even asked if you would like to sit in our private client garden during the colour development. Treatments with our recently qualified stylist are a little slower than our more experienced stylist, this is reflected in our price tier system. You were charged 55 for a full head of highlights, cut & finish as apposed to 100 for out top stylist. I will also point out that it was my birthday. The staff were trying to arrange a surprise for me which involved them in kahoot to get me out of the salon (very hard as I was refusing to leave, I had no idea what going on) I know you witnessed the surprise being arrange and the staff excitement, I'm so lucky to have such a loving team that would do this for me and though not normal, it's been a tough and hard year, I know the other clients in that day loved the buzz and even gave money to the girls joining in to buy me gifts. When I was allowed to return you had already left. Maybe standards slipped with this extenuating distraction I am sorry for this. I did however immediately ask after you. Junior was very happy, mentioned how happy you were with the colour, something you repeated to me on the following Monday, stating that previous salons had created a brassy look which you not keen on. I was very surprised to see you at my door Monday. I will admit I was a little stressed as I work alone with pre booked beauty appointments Mondays, with Covid restrictions I was conscious of departing/ arrival times but did however unlock the door to invite you in inbetween. You questioned the price, as I wasn't at check out Saturday I checked there & then confirmed you had been charged correctly. 35 for highlights, 20 cut & finish. It's at that point your attitude changed towards me. You become aggressive in tone. Confused I tried to establish the problem. I asked if you were happy with the colour and said yes infact you wanted this to be your regular salon, even admitting that you previously had been to our salon had a cut & finish which you had loved stating, "don't know why you went else where anyway." You continued saying that didnt have cut and huridly dried like trying to get rid of you. I offered to refund you 10 for not having a cut, completing it there and then, but it wasn't enough for you, it's at this point I said I felt upset as felt we had gone out of our way to look after you. I refunded you a further 10 immediately, I was relectant, you only paid 35 for whole service, I felt the time service & results were worth more, it was frustrating for me and I didn't want to get into an argument which I felt you were trying to provoke. I'm sorry if that came across as being rude I will take this on board and thank you for your feedback.

Having read your reply I am re writing my review as I am disgusted with what youve replied with. Yes you did fit me in last minute but I did not say Ill be happy with anything. I clearly stated a full head colour, cut and finish. Did I receive a cut and finish? No I did not. You were closing at 3 and staff were more busy preparing for your birthday party than they were taking care in their customers. My foils underneath were left on for 3 hours so god knows the damage that has done to my hair. I said the reason I booked in elsewhere is because I won a competition and never once stated that another hair dressers left my hair brassy as I have not had my hair coloured since 2015 from a hair dressers. The blow dry was atrocious. My hair was pulled from staff member to staff member to rush dry it, the knots were tugged out of it. It was painful and I did say to the girl doing my hair that I am disabled and highly sensitive to pain and that my hair doesnt brush knots out unless its dry. I also was not offered use of your garden whilst the colour developed because as soon as the final foils were put on I was Put right under the heater to speed the colouring up for ten minutes. However I was sitting there for roughly 25 mins (15 mins after the heater stopped) whilst staff put up balloons etc. When I came in and explained to you, you sulked. You refused to listen to what I was saying and said you were upset. Hang on... Im the customer and I was the one upset that Id been charged for a cut I didnt receive along with a finish. I replied with why are you upset? I said what happened was not my fault and I asked for a cut. I wasnt given one. And the reason I wasnt happy with 10 refund is because a cut and finish is 20. Therefore still charging me 10 for my finish. You said the reason my hair wasnt cut is because I apparently told you I wasnt sure if I wanted it cut, so your contradicting yourself because you said in your reply to me that I asked for a cut and finish. And also the fact Ive been here before for a cut and finish. Im well aware of what a finish is. Its a blow dry and a curl or straighten. I asked for curl, then changed my mind to straighten. The blow dry on my first visit was lovely. My hair was sectioned, and rolled around the hair brush and dried perfectly. This time it was just rough dried, my hair was not straightened as requested and I wasnt shown the back of my hair with a mirror. That is why I was not willing to pay the full price for a cut and finish. My tone of voice changed to replicate yours. I was with my daughter so was most definitely not aggressive as I would not act like that infront of her, like youve accused me of being. I felt you were rather stroppy regarding this. I stated that I would have made this my regular hair dressers until my experience there that day. I dont feel youR need for a reply is necessary because Im afraid the scenario youve imagined was far from reality, what you have replied with is based on lies . And as for your staff doing you a surprise party, pleasure should not be mixed with business and they made a vital mistake doing this as it compromised their service on a customer. Its a shame that customers are ten a penny these days, however, so are hair dressers. I dont feel the need for us to converse any longer.
