Hi Lisa Fetchko ... not sure where this is coming from especially after your original 5 star review on 6/16/18 that you stated you loved your hair color to this pricing review 12/12 /18 but lets go over the cost so potential clients can understand professional salon pricing ... after a lengthy consultation in order to get the hair color you visioned your stylist had to do our personalized Baly-weave ( $175 ) then lowlights ( $90 ) and a toner ( $55 usually only $45 but you have a-lot of long hair ) so your color cost was $320 then you asked for a cut & style so thats ( $60 ) bring a total of $380.00 ... we work very hard to make every clients super happy with the final results as you were when we finished and I do apologies if you think it was to much money but our stylist constant learning and sharpening of their skills does make their work more than those that don't.

Ask for pricing up front or you will be charged what they think you can pay. Was almost $500 for a cut and color because I did not get an estimate up front.

First ... If you want a flat iron service simply ask for a flat iron service when you make your appointment ... we do not guess new clients ethnic backgrounds or services. 2nd. Pictures are simply a guide that lets the stylist understand what your envisioning ... you cannot expect to look like the picture you brought in of Tara Banks with a burgundy pin straight hair colored Weave ! as much as we tried to explain this to you who has Dominican / Puerto Rican super long very curly full hair ...you did not want to hear it ! 3rd. If your not happy with the color please when youre asked how do you like your hair ? Dont respond with I like it the stylist did a good job ... communication is everything ! ... it gives the salon an opportunity to make adjustments to the services. 4th. Salons cant control the weather ... if its rainy and muggy you probably want to reschedule your service for a better day. We have more than 40% Latino clientele and being Latinos ourselves we do understand the hair but its also important to educate the client of what their hair is capable of doing in their current state ( Damaged ) We truly DO CARE FOR OUR CLIENTS HAPPINESS and we have tried to communicate with you but without a response we are helpless ... we wish you nothing but the best and thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you.

Staff are super nice &friendly, however I asked for an ombre look with burgundy. Gave pictures of the look and all. Leaving I was upset my hair was not how I expected at all.Coming home and getting a full look at my hair, Im highly upset! Looks nothing like my request. I was there from 12:30pm-5:30pm and my look is completely upsetting. It was raining out and they had Both the doors wide open my hair kept freezing right up. After a full blow out with just the use of a blow dryer, I looked like I put my finger in a socket and got electrocuted HONESTLY! If I didnt complain I would have been left that way because the use of a FLAT IRON is a complete different appointment and I was not told this prior to booking. They did bring the flat iron out after my melt down.I am Latina my hair requires both blow dryer and flat iron when ever getting it blown out or curled. I genuinely feel they can not handle Latina textured hair. The whole experience was different from my normal hair visits at a salon. I paid a lot of money for a look I will be removing. I appreciate the kindness but HONESTY is key and everyone telling me it looks so nice on my way out while my ends are a hot mess! Is really just, wrong ...

Deepthi ... as a possible new client we would love to have taken care of your color service but we simply couldnt because we were booked for the day that you wanted and we tried to explain this and get you in for at least a color consultation this way we are better prepared on time but you quickly got upset and hanged up ... new clients are always welcomed and we certainly are very thankful for them ....we appreciate you for taking the time to call ME on 2nd Salon.

The process of taking an appointment itself was very complicated and the individual who answered the phone almost sounded like they didn't want new customers. Disappointing given the reviews otherwise. Edit : I see the response from salon below, what they have said is not true. I didn't ask for a same day appointment and when I asked them to suggest a date they were really vague and mentioned they are very busy with customers. Not to mention the extra long hold. Lying to defend themselves on Google reviews is even worse form for a business.
