After several pleasant experiences at Page's, today, not so much. Placed my order to go. Had to go back because of missing food items. Chicken was over cooked with little to no taste. Other food items were good. Hopefully, the next visit will be better.

Saw a TV show that spoke of this place and decided to make the 3-1/2 hour trip down the next day all because of fried grit cakes. We were NOT disappointed. As a matter of fact, EVERYTHING we had was awesome from the sampler platter to the shrimp & grits to the stewed Okra & tomato. And it wasn't just the food that impressed us... our server Rich was awesome too. He answered all of our questions and made sure we were well taken care of. Can't wait for our return trip. Course it'd been about 2 years since our last visit, but this place may tempt us to make it much sooner.

By far I think this is the best in the area including Charleston because you got a lot of fancy restaurants in Charleston and you got a lot of fancy nice restaurants on the water close to the islands like on Shema Creek etc but if you just want good food that's not going to break the bank I recommend this place I had some fried flounder and it was absolutely delicious I went back for a second time just because of that and my friend that went with me had two different meals and both of them were excellent also and the service was good. No wonder the place is packed but it's good I recommend it. And then I had the key lime pie which I really liked and my friend had the peanut butter pie. What can I say when I go back to Charleston this is where I'm going to go LOL
Hi Kim, I am sorry for your poor experience today. We have a lot of outside seats, did you talk to the host when checking in about sitting outside? Poor service. Website does not disclose issues. Waited 15 minutes to get table, half hour after food order, they lose the order. Manager ignores coming out apologize. Pretends he is on phone when clearly not. Inside, NOISY AS HELL, and no option to sit outside. Do not go. Bad place.
