Mr. Crawford - I apologize for the experience! I just spoke with our customer service and I wish to correct a few things in your review. First - The customer service rep you spoke with has been with us more than 10 years and most of our staff has been here more than 10 years. She informed me that you used to go to a place near Allentown Road - That was Red Nelson's Trophy World. Red retired and closed his shop about 3 years ago. No one from their staff has ever worked for AwardsPlus. We did not buy the business from Red, nor did we purchase a client list. Red simply closed his operation when he retired. Just to clarify that for other readers - we have not solicited any of Trophy World's former business and we do not have any records from Trophy World. We are a completely separate business and have been for 45 years. Regarding certificates, we stopped selling them about 3-4 years ago because there was very little demand for them and places like Office Depot and Staples have ample supplies. In addition, we found that most of our clients went to printing their own, so we decided to stop carrying them and refer people to Staples, Office Depot or to find a local paper printer. We have never printed on paper - just to be clear on that as well. Moving forward... as I said earlier, we do not sell paper certificates and I would suggest to seek our a printer local to you or check with Staples or Office Depot. They should be able to resolve your need for paper certificates. Regarding the service you received, I completely understand your frustration. We don't like to have to refer customers to other businesses, but sometimes it is necessary. The customer experience is very important to us and we do everything to ensure that if we cannot help a client, we explain why and then make a referral when applicable. No customer ever wants to hear a customer service representative say "no" - and we strive to always say "yes", but if I don't have the product, I have no other choice. I have been purchasing from this store for years. Today I came in after not coming in for a couple of years. There was a different staff and the store was set up differently and they no longer sold certificates. The staff person seemed aggressive, and the experience that I use to have was no longer there, it was not pleasant. Everything changes, to bad it was not for the best in my case. No plans to spend my money there.
The staff at AwardsPlus is very responsive and creative. They've assisted me with projects and provided quick and responsive attention. They've also provided me with creative ideas to enhance the projects that I brought to them. Great customer service and competitive prices.

Went here after a referral from my longtime trophy shop, Mr. Red's Trophy World, when it closed with Mr. Red's retirement. The staff, particularly Wayne with whom I placed my order, was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and prompt with taking my order, meeting my order specifications and going above and beyond to ensure the items I ordered reflected my needs. I received mockups via email of my plaque orders and was able to sign off on everything before my order was placed. AwardsPlus staff also made sure the order was tax exempted (for a local youth hockey program through Parks and Planning) as requested. They were even able to incorporate our team colors and log into both the plaques and trophies I ordered. The work was exemplary so much so that I've gone back to place another order for another organization (local middle school).
