Dear Simone Thank you for taking your time and leaving a feedback for the service you never had! First and foremost, I would like to emphasise that our establishment has just been chosen the best salon in Salford for the third year in a row, a top rated salon on Treatwell for the third year in a row, and we are within top 7 hair salons in the Greater Manchester (the references to above are within the Google search engine you have used to leave this review!). Most of our team are award winning stylists within their fields and specialities. On the other hand, all of our prices are written in black and white on multiple sources such as our website, our online booking system and on our leaflets for public access. All the quotations given in the salon are based on above and there are no hidden costs within our services. Ultimately, we take pride on the level and consistency of the services we deliver to our clients which is reflected on the feedbacks and reviews we receive. We understand that our prices might not be within your budget and we totally respect that. Unfortunately, we have no records of you visiting our salon on our database. But I can assure you, everyone is welcome in our salon and no member of our team behaves in such manner under any circumstances. I am afraid this review is a false accusation and will be reported to the Google review team for further investigation.

I enquired about a hair trim and colour and got told an extortionate amount. I think the member of staff could tell by face how shocked i was. I know celebrity hairdressers in the manchester city centre that charge less. Considering theyre based in Ordsall and not the centre youd think theyd be slightly cheaper but in comparison to some well know places the prices are a rip off. Regardless, i respect any businesses pricing. But what really led me to leaving this review is after i said thank you but its a little too steep for me, i was met with a cold stare and basically shood out the establishment. As soon as the staff thought i wasnt interested i was given the shoulder and basically told to get out as they were busy. There was only one lady having her hair done! Disgusting behaviour.

Dear Fatima Hope you are well and thank you for being so thoughtful to leave a review for a service you supposedly had almost a year ago! At this stage, we feel obligated to respond to the false allegations you publicly made against the stylist and the salon. First and foremost, its fascinating how you never bothered to leave a review for your regular and fav hairdresser Kelis all this time and yet a year later you feel the need to leave a review for an incident which never even happened the way you described!! On the other hand, you might want to know that the stylist you are referring to, Anita (Master Director) is the salon owner, with over 25 years experience and Keliss (future professional) mentor! So could you please justify that how could she not be good at a treatment she literally specialises in and teaches to her future professionals and other stylists in her industry? In regards to the allegations towards the stylist, your quote, the owner did disrespect the client by asking for a tip in a very indirect and humiliating way. Every client of Avesta knows that Anita goes above and beyond for whoever sits on her chair. Her values and ideas drive our business and is a representative of our salon culture which is reflected in all of our feedbacks and reviews. None of our stylists ever ask for a tip. In fact, we dont even accept tips on card payments! So why should the salon owner who is coming in on her day off, after a major operation, covering for team member not to let you down, force the client to tip her?! This is simply a huge misunderstanding. Referring to the racial allegations, Anita is not a native herself and I believe you realised that by the way you described her in your review! Also, I dont believe asking people where they are from can be classed as a racial comment at any shape of from and in any society or/ and part of the world! It is simply a conversation opener and it also helps the stylist to choose the right products and tools and techniques given the ethnicity of the hair to achieve the best outcome. Furthermore, we open the door for our clients on their arrival and departure as a sign of respect and because of the security lock we installed on the entrance after the pandemics. The door is on auto lock and no one can enter or exit the premises without pressing the green key next to the door and on the reception. Here at Avesta, exceptional client care and customer service is our main priority. We are always apologetic if we have made a mistake under any circumstances and offer our absolute best to resolve the matter. Although, we do not tolerate any sort of abuse, bullying, attack on individual, hate, racism or false allegations. In conclusion, We are shocked by the content of your review and given your review history, it is obvious that you follow a pattern to leave a bad review for health and beauty related businesses and I am afraid we will be reporting this user ID for to the Google team for slander and false allegations. We also believe no one in our industry deserves to be treated this way! As you can see, it is too easy to judge and attack the individuals and the organisations who have the best intentions in heart based on our assumptions. Avesta Team

After reading the response of the Salon* Your response does not change the fact that the OWNER did disrespect a client by asking for a tip in a very indirect and humiliating way! And yes even after a YEAR, I still feel the need to bring this out because writing this review could force you to stop treating other potential victims the way u treated me! As for the service, I did not complain about it, all I said was that I was not impressed! Asking people where they from is completely fine with me and I do it myself sometimes, however being adamant in questioning them where theyre from is rude! And NO you dont open and close doors for your clients all the time! This is a lie! I am not new to the saloon and never saw any hairdresser asking their client DO U WANT ME TO OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU? especially when the client is waiting for their money to be returned to them! You should apologise instead of researching my google reviews! Sorry if it bothers you, but I am too sensitive to let wrong attitudes (even years ago) go unchecked and uncorrected (at least from my side)! Being Keliss mentor is irrelevant, seems like youre trying to credit yourself for her ethics and hard work! It would not hurt to learn from your mentee how to treat people with respect and dignity! I had to write this (even though it almost happened a year ago, last July 2021) but I think I need to do it so others wont go through the same experience. I came to the saloon and was booked with my regular and fav hairdresser Kelis, shes very professional and friendly. But when I arrived they told me that shes not in today and I was booked with another hairdresser (forgot her name) she had a curly brown reddish hair, was a bit friendly at the beginning but she was very adamant in knowing where Im from! I wasnt very happy with the treatment, my curly hair looked too dull and dry ( but wont blame it %100 on her as my hair is naturally curly). My shock was at the front desk, after shes done my hair and I was trying to pay, I handed her the money and was waiting for her to return the change but she looked very busy opening and closing drawers and then she seemed to be busy decluttering the front desk while I was still standing there in front of her! After like 2 mins or so she looked at me and she literally said Do you want me to OPEN THE DOOR FOR YOU? I was shocked and couldnt process what she said! I then realized that what she did was a rude and a manipulative way of FORCING me to tip her! That made question why she was so adamant about knowing where Im from! I doubt that she could do the same with native people! The good thing is that I did take my money back and her friendly face was then not very friendly! I couldnt process the incident back then as this never happened to me anywhere before! But I decided to write about this here so that that this person doesnt dare repeating the same attitude with other clients no matter where theyre from!
