We did on this occasion make an honest mistake by not MOT testing one of our own vehicles on time (2 weeks late), we will not try to make any excuse as it should not have happened, but we are only human. May we also say all IVC courtesy cars are checked upon return to ensure they are all safe to use. We thought we were doing the right thing by not charging for the work (833.91 worth) we carried out as Mr Cawston/ Ms Paterson were within their rights to complain but it would not appear to be the case as we still got a slanderous review. These are the first customers we have had to bar in 36 years of trading and over 100,000 customers Please read our other reviews as I think they speak volumes.

1 star is too many for these. Sent me out in a courtesy car with an engine light on jovially proclaiming it was their Christmas car as it always has lights on. I then found out it was without MOT having expired over a fortnight ago despite them offering mot service. When challenged about this the attitude was simply no harm no foul despite the fact I couldve lost my license and subsequently my job as it wouldve voided insurance. My partner dealt with them first on completion of the job and was stonewalled with the no harm no foul attitude. Owner was due to call her to negotiate a payment amount taking the above into account. 24 hours later the car throws up a coolant error and I went down to discuss this with them. Was instantly diagnosed despite the car being 8 miles away and the attitude from them was horrendous. I was told repeatedly to shut up (I have video evidence before this is refuted) and the no harm no foul mantra was in full force I would never recommend this garage to any one The car that was not motd was collected and re motd instantly despite having steering column issues and engine warning lights without so much as an advisory for the 3rd year running

Hi Nick, your rear calipers were completely re-furbished, re-painted is skoda green, new pistons and seals fitted, this is the first we have heard of them being seized, they are under warranty for 12 months, all you have to do is get in touch with us, but please do not abuse staff as you have done in the past. When we said we would not work on your vehicle again we also said with the exception of warranty work. We do not tolerate abuse and should not have to especially when I personally went to great lengths and drove two 40 mile round trips to have your calipers re furbished after the ones we ordered were incorrect, only to have you say that we hadn't done anything to them, nothing anyone said was good enough for you, nor did you accept any advice, all we ever did was try and save you money, you agreed in full to every price quoted and we stuck to those quotes.

I would highy recommend IVC. They are knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. As a female walking into a garage and handing the keys over can be daunting. Not with IVC. Customer and car is at the forefront of there mind. No work is completed without authorisation, everything explained. I wont take my car anywhere else, though they may wish i would!

All IVC work is only done if authorised by the customer first. If you could forward a registration number to us so I can find the job as no one with the name of Marsden has been in since November 2019. We would like to get to the bottom of this problem as it isnt the kind of thing we would tolerate from our staff.

Owners very dishonest. They try and charge you for work that doesn't need doing. They even did the work without consulting me and refused to reduce their bill. I was outraged by this so just warning other motorists before they also become victims to these con merchants. Finally, I would like to add that this is a totally genuine and honest review.
