I've had several issues with Guesty over the past couple of months. They keep disconnecting my listing from airbnb. Their website is also clunky and not intuitive so it makes it difficult to sync several booking channels. They also have no customer service number so you have to send an email and then wait sometimes up to 24 hours for a response this is not helpful. When their pricing is $40+ per month this kind of customer service is not acceptable.
So far Guesty has not been a worthwhile purchase. On the channel manager side of things, I have yet to get a booking outside of Airbnb in a month of use. The whole reason I got Guesty in the first place was because I knew it could automatically add entry codes to my smart lock. However, even though Guesty clearly advertised everything included for one monthly price, they want to charge me an additional .75c every time they send a guest a code. At this point in time, it's worth my time just sending every guest their own code like I have always done. So far, Guesty has yet to prove their value and everything seems a bit overpriced, especially as someone with only one listing. All the features are legit, but Guesty has not saved me time or money yet. I will continue for a couple more months hoping that the channel manager somehow becomes valuable and try out some of the automated chatting features, but I am not too hopeful. My pricing software was a much better investment. Edit: the $20 credit they offered off next month for me posting an honest review turned into a $5 credit. At this point I'm tired of being gaslighted and will be cancelling if nothing happens in one more month.
Overall very pleased after switching from Host Tools to Guesty for Hosts. Integrates with mostly everything I need, and provides great customer service.
Guesty has been a poor experience. Time and time again they have come up short on their commitments to us. We have wasted a lot of time and money on this program
