Elaine, My staff and I are completeley blind sided by this review. Your daughter showed nothing but gratefulness and appreciation at each fitting. At each fitting, Your daughter brought us coffee and pastries and constantly thanked us for the work that we are doing. She even wanted to give my seamstress a big hug and thank her for the work that she did on her gown. My team and I went out of our way to give her the dress of her dreams. I have pictures and text messages to prove how happy she was. This review is very dissappointing. I do not think that it is fair for your to write your review when you have never attended her fitting. I would love for you to call, so we can further discuss this issue. 630-903-6236. 1. When covid first hit, we called all our brides and asked them for an update about their wedding. With the stress of brides having to cancel their wedding, we told the brides that we would be more than happy to store their wedding gowns at our shop, that way they don't have to worry about picking it up + coming back. It would be safe at our shop. 2. Alterations are always pre-paid. That has always been our policy. 3. Wedding dress pickups are always week of the wedding( Monday or Wednesday) - unless discussed differently. Our brides have no problem with this matter.

Fifi was a complete nightmare to work and communicate with from the very beginning. She asked for a credit card on account and for a deposit and then charged the full amount. The wedding was postponed due to covid and she refused to return the dress for over a year. The dress fittings included argument with what the bride wanted and an apparent inability to remember what had been discussed previously. The dress wasn't ready until less than a week before the wedding- and it wasn't clean or pressed. The bride left every fitting in tears. Buyer beware!

Fifi was very nice, but I am dissapointed with the quality of my alterations for the price I paid. I had a bridesmaid dress done, and it was altered too tight but not unwearable. I tried it on again before my sisters wedding and noticed that two seams were already coming undone. I'm sure she would have been willing to fix it, but the alterations were not done in a timely matter, and now I am unable to go back and have them fixed.

I only had two weeks to find a wedding dress. Not knowing what I would be able to find on such short notice, I went to Fifis. I could not have had a more positive experience. Not only did they find a beautiful dress, they altered it to perfection.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work on your wedding gown. I am surprised to see your review. As I explained to you as well as all my brides, when you buy a sample off the rack wedding gown that is four sizes too big, I always tell my customers that the dress may not turn out the way they expect it too look. Our last fitting, 2 weeks before your wedding, you came and the dress fit perfect. You even told me you were happy. On Feb 9th , your mother picked up both dresses and she had noting but positive words to say. I received a text message from you regarding concerns about your dress. I offered you to come in and we had made an appointment. You cancelled the appointment that we had made without me looking at your dress. To say that your were forced to take it somewhere else is false. I am sorry you have felt this way. Though I did offer you to come in once more. Worst experience of the entire wedding planning process. Fifi destroyed my gown in the process of altering it; with less than two weeks until my wedding, I had to find another seamstress to rebuild the front of my dress from the train it was so badly botched. Worst of all, Fifi took full payment upfront and offered no refund or apology.
