Hi Emily, I am the insane person that has had Barbara working for me for the last 18 years. She works hard and does a good job in an intense environment. I am sorry you felt you had a bad experience. I would be glad to talk to you about that to see if there is a problem we can resolve. One of the major changes in todays rental market is that the demand for each property is great and we generally receive several qualified applications, however we can only rent to one party. We realize this causes a lot of frustration with some applicants. Regardless, please call my office and I will be glad to talk to you.

Barbara was is most rude and unprofessional woman I have ever met. Whoever put her in charge of dealing with the public is either insane or doesn't have any clue what they are doing.
I know this may seem biased, but I have worked for Armstrong Property Management for close to 32 years. It has always been company policy that applicants, tenants and owners are foremost in our day to day operation. We are open during the lunch hour and some Saturdays for those that work during the business week. For applicants, we have no application fee, so you can apply for multiple units on one application. While a lot of companies closed down during the worst times of the pandemic, we stayed open. We have always and will continue to go above and beyond to help all our clients new and old, whether applicants, owners or renters.
Dion, our responses were a little strained the last two weeks. We have had four of six of our office staff out with Covid, I apologize for that, however the correct action on your part was to contact the propane folks as you did. Our past tenants did the same with good results also. The owner had some confusion about reserving or not reserving the garage, which seemed to resolve it self when you talked to the Son, (not the owner) I am glad that you are situated. If I can be of further assistance, please call the office and ask for Jim Armstrong

I liked their application process where they only made you pay a collective $50 if you were approved for the rental. However, there was an issue with figuring out how to get our propane turned on and we needed to know how from the property owners if the tank was rented from a specific propane company or if it was owned by the property owners. My husband and I made several calls through out the week to them asking if they could get ahold of the property owners to find out if the tank was rented or owned and after coming in contact with the property owner who lived down the road, we found out that they never asked them about that. So it took us over a week to actually move in because they failed to listen to what it was that we were asking and we had already paid rent but we couldnt move in because there was no heat, no hot water, no way to cook. The propane company we contacted was more help than they were and just made the whole ordeal really stressful and frustrating. They are all really friendly but they really lack on communication and it makes me reluctant to try and get ahold of them if I need help with something in the future. They didnt seem knowledgeable about anything having to do with the propane setup. Also when I saw the description of the home and went to apply for it, it said it came with a detached garage, so we figured it was the one car garage set up that built across from the house, just before we signed the lease, they told us that was not part of the deal which was very disappointing, but the day we were moving in and we came in contact with the property owner, he told us that yes that was our garage to use. So that seems like another flaw in their communication and knowledge of the property itself.
