Dear Ms Elias, I (the person who took your dress) advised you at the time of handing your dress over that there is a risk with items that have two heavy contrasting colours (white/black); however, informed you that it is a Karen Millen dress and they should have had the dress cleaned /tested before production (this is where the care label instructions come from). We have a local manufacturer test their garments before production in our shop so are aware of the processes. In our line of business there are always risks and we try our best to limit these as much as possible and advise customers accordingly. We did advise you of the risk but it was small. After the cleaning process we called you to tell you that there was an issue and we were looking in to what had happened and are trying to resolve the problem. You then decided to write this review without knowing what had happened. After investigating what had gone wrong, we identified the damage caused to your dress was not because of the cleaning process but the tag left on the label of your dress; this had melted. This is not something we are responsible for. We treated your dress delicately and cleaned it with our delicate load; the plastic melting ruined several items which we compensated our customers for. Regardless of your review we tried several remedial procedures (at our own time and cost) to try to remove the plastic, however were unsuccessful. We work hard and treat our customers with the upmost respect; had the events not turned out as they did, I'm sure we would have come to some amicable agreement as we are not happy if our customers are not happy. However, we do not appreciate you writing negative reviews before the matter has been dealt with and threatening us to ransom that your husband (Peter Elias) will also leave a negative review etc. If you wish to pursue the matter further, you are more than welcome to have the dress examined by an independent expert at your cost. If they agree that the cleaning process was responsible for the damage, we will pay the value of the dress and the cost of the independent expert as per our T&C. Regards, Hamid

They spoilt my favorite Karen Millen dress :( said they will test to make sure colours will not run before thry dry clean it. But denied they said so when they called to give me the News - Will never use them again

Very disappointing, they damaged my suit. They were nice people to talk to, but no my suit is beyond repair and no compensation on offer :(

I got my dress altered here, just before Christmas. I was panicking as my dress got delivered late and i didn't think it was possible to get it done in time. These guys did it the next day! such a relief and done perfectly too. Would definitely come here again and would recommend it to anyone. it wasn't expensive either :-) Only thing I would suggest is to get a changing room, other than that i'm a satisfied customer.
Couldn't fault! Got 2 two piece suits dry cleaned and got them back the next day with their express service. Their service is excellent and pricing is exceptionally reasonable! I even received a text message when the items were ready to collect so no chasing around! Will definitely use again and highly recommend.
