This review is not an accurate description of our work and requires layman explanation.The vehicle was driven in with a requested water pump leaking coolant repair.Upon inspection,radiator was empty,We added coolant and it was evident the water pump was leaking badly .Enough for us to not safely run, drive or could do any further testing. Vehicle was also very low on oil. Water pump was approved and upon tear down the timing belt and tensioner were needed badly but declined. We did water pump only,added oil, ,got vehicle running and continued our repair process and check out.The vehicle started to show signs of misfiring and rough running once up to temp and pressure could stay in coolant system.We did at no charge;a pressure leak down and chemical test to confirm our suspicion of a head gasket blown due to overheating .Your husband was advised, he claimed vehicle was not hot or showed was hot.We explained that the vehicle will not show a dash warning that it is hot because the vehicle had no water in engine for the sensor the read the temperature.A quote given for the head gasket and next day declined due to financial reasons .You were given the old part for your confirmation of the leak and our repair. Ck engine light flashing now and shaking is a direct cause of the head gasket failure.We are sorry you are disappointed,we did all we could and hope this clears up your concerns.

Took my car in because it needed the water pump replaced. 566$ later they call me back to tell me I have a blown head gasket. Husband picked up the vehicle and now the check engine lights blinking and car is shaking. My vehicle was not like that when it was dropped off. I took my vehicle to this shop because of the good reviews. Very disappointed and I dont recommend anyone to take their vehicle here.

I was stopped by another driver yesterday, my brake lights are out. I called CFAR this morning before opening & left a message with the issue. Brian called me shortly after opening. He was able to get me in hour later. They got the issue diagnosed quickly and parts ordered. I appreciate their effort in providing quick services. Another great experience here.

Over 20 years (since 1998) and 8 vehicles later my family and I are still going to Frank and his son, Brian, for auto maintenance and repairs. They have truly proven themselves and they run exactly the kind of family-owned business everyone looks for and asks around for in their community. They are friendly, honest, professional, stay within their quoted estimates, stay on top of communication, charge fairly, answer questions directly, make important recommendations without up-selling, and deliver excellent service in a timely manner. Basically, they are how you would imagine a friendly and reliable car shop from a 90's family sitcom. You can actually trust them.

Sorry you are not happy. Initial diagnose was for a ck eng lt, pop in speaker and now battery goes dead as noted on your invoice at check in. Code was a history intermittent lean condition but had a shorted battery .Everytime the battery goes dead it clears out the codes and data memory,so battery had to be replaced.We got approved to do battery,not under insurance and to recheck code. Vehicle was test driven per factory procedure with 3 drive cycles and all monitors passing and no eng light as reviewed /noted when you picked up car. Insurance nor our reputation allow us to do unneeded repairs without diagnosis to confirm failed parts. We welcome all reviews.

Either incompetent, lazy, or unwilling to help. Brought my car in through insurance to diagnose a check engine light. It was on when I dropped it off, it was on when I picked it up, and yet somehow in the four days they had the car....they had no check engine light, and no code. Brian is a joke. As is this company. I will use someone who isn't a complete waste of time.
